Hello, I have an issue regarding my network card. One day there was a lightning and it was so close that my pc turned black for a second and I could literally see blue light behind my pc monitor.after that my pc has lost internet connection. I saw that network card isn't glowing, so I got a new one but that one doesn't work either. Please help.

I can't plug that card anywhere else because there is only one spot for it and rest are already taken.I tried plugging it in my graphics card slot but it wouldn't fit.

Wait wait wait. It seems like my network card is working. I replaced my Ethernet cable and plugged it in a different modem port. From what I can tell the lightning cooked my old network card, my motherboard looks ok (I assume that since my motherboard could detect my new network card) and the Ethernet cable was cooked as well and my Modems port (the one where my old cable was in when the lightning struck) is fried. But I used half-broken Ethernet cable when I tested this, so I will give an update soon, so it is fixed or naah when I use a Ethernet cable that has no damage. Btw sorry for late responses.

My wi-fi is working on phone and on my laptop. I have network card called D-Link DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, and it has two LEDs. One LED has LINK under it and the other LED has ACT under it. However, the LINK is glowing green, but the ACT is blinking. And im still trying to fix the Ethernet doesn't have valid ip address.
