Intel Ethernet Connection i218-v disables itself in device manager

For some reason, my computer network adapter disables itself in device manager. I can't connect to the internet for more than a minute before the device just disables. Apparently it's a "code 22".

I already tried downloading the latest drivers and uninstalling the device and rebooting. I'm also using Win10.

This is embarrassing, my solution was that I had a program called InternetOff starting on boot, whenever this program runs: the name is self-explanatory. All I did was uninstall the program and it's back to working again!
