Just dropped my newly built pc about half a foot (maybe a little more) and im wondering if anything could've gotten damaged especially the graphics card. the case did land on its feet so hopefully nothing got hot too much.
graphics card was an Asus strix r9 390 btw

Solution
make sure the cpu still locked in tight. i seen pc that have been shipped that the cooler can pull the cpu off the pins. the worst case i seen big air coolers rip the cpu chip and holder off of the mb.

Don't worry about it until you observe a problem. Damage to components is not overt. Open it up and check that everything is still plugged in. Things can get jostled around, but newer hardware is pretty resilient. It could be worse if it was running when it fell, but could still easily be fine. Some important things are the 24 pin power cable, SATA cables, CPU power cable, front panel button power cables, graphics card power cable (reseat it on the PCIe slot if you're having problems later on).
Try to backup your personal data incase the drives got damaged and watch for visual artifacts and crashing. You might have zero problems.

1. Don't have any hard drives, just an ssd
2. power supply still hasn't come yet (backorder)
CPU cooler shouldn't be an issue due it being a ryzen stealth cooler which is very low profile, mobo has zero physical damage, gpu has zero physical damage just worried that it's weight could've of damaged the pcie slot
thanks for the response btw
