Sapphire nitro+ rx580 4gb on 1080p

Solution
The RX 580 is basically an RX 480 which was released two years ago now.

I've not got a crystal ball, but I think that in 2 years time, a card such as that will probably require you to turn settings down to a mix of Medium/High settings if you want to get near to 60fps. If only to keep within the 4GB vram limit.

One way to ease any concerns for the future would be to get a FreeSync monitor. That will allow you to play smoothly more than anything else. Some of the newer/better monitors have a FreeSync range going as low as 30Hz (think 30fps) for example.

Then there are the even newer 'FreeSync 2' compatible monitors, these use LFC to avoid stutter and tearing at <30fps.

That was the route I went down (getting a FreeSync monitor) so...
Impossible to predict, will also depend on what FPS is acceptable to you. Personally I doubt in 3-4 years you will run high-very high.

5 years ago the GTX780 was considered over the top for 1080p. It now runs the latest AAA games at 60fps using medium to high settings.

well i know fps will be issue..but i dont care on that ..i just need to play smoothly..is it possible with this card ?

Easy today, impossible to predict what will be needed in 3-4 years. Personally I doubt high-very high will still be smooth in 3-4 years. Per my prior comment, a gpu that was considered over the top for 1080p 5 years ago is only just doing medium to high settings today. The 580 is a great card but it’s not over the top for 1080p today. Who knows what new pressures or features game developers will put on gpu’s in the next few years.

That was the route I went down (getting a FreeSync monitor) so I'm able to avoid worrying about low frame-rates any more (within reason ofc) and keep my settings turned up.
