Running colder after fresh windows

Hi my gpu idle 0%usage at 51 c and after a pc wipe and fresh windows now at 34c. Can you tell me whst was the cause. So i can avoid it happening again

It could be that you had some kind of malware/bit miner hiding in your system somewhere, bit mining malware will use up some gpu load constantly. On the other hand, it could have been a problem/mix up with the fan software that the fresh install fixed

I've had the problem before with bit miners, and I use avast as well and it never picked it up. I also tried malwarebytes and it didn't detect it. How I eventually fixed the problem is opening taskmanager and individually looking up every task/process that I didn't recognize until I found the one and removed it manually
