Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if gigabyte g41m combo motherboard is compatible with a corsair 850w.

That psu have probably all the connectors you will need for G41 Chipset, So YES it is compatible.
But it is overkill, I dont think you need that much wattage unless you are going to have dual GPU setup.

It was given to me as my power supply failed. As long as it won't cause any damage. Il more than likely upgrade the motherboard to something more powerful in the next few months. Thanks for the info.

Dont worry Corsair PSUs are one of the best in the market and its compatible with that mobo.
