Just about 15 minutes ago, i updated my GPU BIOS(Rx 580 power color red dragon 8GB) with the tehcpowerup BIOS from
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191434/powercolor-rx580-8192-170330 (VBIOS 015.050.000.001.000000)
To
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/198128/powercolor-rx580-8192-171211 (VBIOS015.050.002.001.000000)

and after i rebooted my computer, the first time windows initialized, on the loading part, it gave me vertical artifacts, 2 groups of them, and it froze my computer
then i restarted it and it booted as it always does, then i ran some tests with fumark and userbenchmarks, fumark worked fine the whole time, with 1080p behcmarking, but when i went to userbenchmarks @ the parallax test it gave me checkerboard artifacts and after about 3 seconds, the whole screen went black, then the screen came back filled with horizontal artifacts, and then my computer rebooted.

as far as i know, both VBIOS are compatible with mine i have a FX8320E and a 600W PSU, 16Gb of ram(2x4Gb 1x8Gb) and a samsung evo 850 256Gb.

I updated my GPU BIOS because some games were crashing when i put the game at maximum settings (tested with Rainbow Six Siege, on T-AA 2x it worked fine but at T-AA x4 it crashed almost imidiatelly and with Space Engineers, crashed imidiatelly when the world loaded)

it is working fine apart from when i initialize a game. when i do that, it gives me the same pattern of behavior as in the userbenchmark parallax test, but instead of rebooting, it goes back to normal.

Update 1:i installed the 050.000.001 VBIOS again and ran the test were the artifacts appeared, it seems like that solved the problem of the artifact, bu ti dont know about hte crashes... will test now
