Problem with water cooler with ram

Hello, I recently bought the Kraken x62 CPU water cooler and I wanted to mount it on the top of my case, but due to the ram sticking out too much, it was hitting the radiator and wouldn't allow me to install it on the top. Is there a motherboard with the ram in a different position than the top right side? Or is there some type of ram that won't stick out as much?

Whats your motherboard and case? In most motherboard the ram placement is quite standard-its mostly the case's compatibility that may affect the thickness of the radiator you can install.

If rad+fan nudge RAM you'll have to give up one of 'em, either to mount rad on front or remove RAM heatsink

motherboards have same RAM slots location.
The case you are using is probably not liquid cooling friendly. either replace the case to one that have enough space to mount rads or do what @dederedmi5plus suggested.
