Hello,

I have already a PSU which I bought for my previous setup but I decided to change the GPU and I was wondering if my old PSU could handle it. Corsair cx 450m is the PSU that I already have, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

It depends on which RX 570 you have, because some models like the Nitro+ have the same TDP as the RX 580 an can go up to around 200W. I'd be careful with trying to max out an overclock.
You should consider the rest of your system specs when trying to determine if a PSU is enough. In most systems the CX450M would be enough for an RX 570. I just wouldn't go trying to find out that maximum power I could draw from overclocking though.

What are the rest of your system specs?

Hey guys. I also have the rx 570 8gb nitro + and my psu, Cx450m, gets hot. Is that normal?
My cpu is ryzen 1700 and got 2 modules of 8gb ram. Mobo is ab350m pro4 (but will switch to msi B450m mortar)
Thanks a lot!
Ps: The gpu isn't overclocked, neither is the cpu.
