Hi there I bought some ram off someone thinking it was a good deal, the ram was 32GB PD DDR3 1333 MHZ and I later found out that it was Registered ecc ram and later found out it was server ram and did not work with my mobo. I have been looking around for a while now but cant seem to find any motherboard that supports both my cpu and ram.
Cpu AMD FX 8350 8 core processor
Ram again 32GB DDR3 1333 MHZ ECC R ED REGISTERED
if anyone can help me I'm trying to find one that will work well with gaming (going to liquid cool cpu, also have a gtx 1060 so need some room) any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Solution
FX-8350 specifications
Supported memory: DDR3-1866 unbuffered with one DIMM per channel or DDR3-1600MHz unbuffered with two DIMMs per channel.
AM3+ motherboards use dual channel memory.

That CPU doesn't use Registered memory. You bought the wrong hardware.

There is no CPU that would work with your mobo and that RAM.

That's a pretty outdated CPU, if you have the budget I'd replace your whole CPU/mobo/RAM with something modern (will use DDR4). If you want to stick with your current platform, get non ECC unregistered (UDIMM) DDR3.
