Hello i was looking at some videos for the topic of undervolting while having good performance at no cost but gain of having a longer life spam for the gpu, hence undervolting or so they claim.
so im here asking if this is actually true or just a myth that actually hurts the gpu hardware and performance so before attempting it myself i wanna know if anyone in here has tested it and has knowledge that could share and benefits anyone that is interested in this.

so the program that im interested in applying this method is MSI afterburner since its basic&simple to use, ive been told wattman has the same feature but its rather clunky, not to mention it doesnt have a fan curvature unlike afterburner does which is rather nice.

now that ive mentioned wattman another question of mine is: can msi afterburner works fine with radeon software/wattman ? or can only be use one of those two to avoid conflicts?

Yes, that is correct, undervolting will reduce power draw potentially saving you a bit on your power bill.

They use Wattman, but the procedure should be similar with Afterburner. You'll just be adjusting the voltage offset rather than setting an absolute voltage. I think you could use Afterburner with Wattman installed without conflicts, but I'm not sure. You can just go ahead and try it, as long as your settings in afterburner are being applied properly you should be fine.

well forgot to mention on the main post that it would also help with the power consumption specially if where you at the electricity is quite expensive and if you wanna save some bucks that could help reduce a little on that, or am i wrong ? specially if you game for hours.
about the gpu : rx 570 gigabyte gaming oc 4gb.
