Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2400G
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350M-e
Hard Drive: WD Blue 2TB 3.5 Inch
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2800
PSU: Corsair CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX

Problem:
I recently tried to build my own PC for the first time. When I try to power it up, there is no display, but the lights on the motherboard are on and the fans power up.

I thought it might be a BIOS issue, so I got a loan kit from AMD with another CPU to update the BIOS. With the loaner CPU, it powers on and boots to UEFI Bios Utility succesfully, and I was able to update to the latest version of the BIOS. However, after putting the AMD Ryzen CPU back in, it still doesn't display anything.

I have tried everything on this list: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems. Also, my CPU has integrated graphics. Does this mean that I have a bad chip? What else is there to try?

Solution
After clearing the CMOS, try to check the lights on keyboard. If they respond to key press (CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK are turning on and off), I would say it might be a problem with integrated video, or a compatibility issue with iGPU. If nothing happens (e.g. you press caps lock, but the led does not turns on/off) it might be the CPU itself (or a worse compatibilty issue).

Also, I would recommend to put your CPU into another AM4+ MOBO (from the person you loaned the CPU) to get all possibilities.

Good luck.

Solution
if the pc has the newest bios 43xx. if your using a gpu with the old cpu then it a bios setting as the newer cpu have ipgup in them. with the booting cpu change priamy display from auto to peg/pci if your going to still use a gpu. if not change it to ipgpu and under muilt monitor support turn it on.
