Hello,

We are looking to install some additional storage space for a client, they are a hotel that is using a DVR service to record feed from their security cameras.

What is our best option here? I am not very experienced when it comes to this type of storage. We are looking to get something from Dell to match their current PC.

THank you

I expect that a good NAS would be far more practical, useful, and cost effective to simply store data like security camera feeds at a single location.

Read THIS for some background on the differences.

As far as brands, I would look at QNAP or Synology for your application -- they come in a variety of sizes and are pretty much plug and play for locations like hotels where there is no available tech support on site.
