Hi all. I know this question has been asked a lot, but... What is a safe temp for i7 8700K? While idling, it runs at 30°C, when I'm gaming (BFV) I get a temp of 55-ish, and when I ran Prime95 (I ran it for about 10 minutes, maximum heat) I got 72°C.
Is it safe? What's your recommendations? I was expecting it to be hotter than my 5-years old i5 4690K, but not THAT much. Am I fine or should I change the thermal grease? I have the Noctua NH-D15S cooler, BTW. So I expect the CPU to be running ice cold.
