I5 8600K Overlock and Temps

Hi all,

I have 8600k overclocked 4.9Ghz all cores 1.25Vcore runing Aida64 temps don´t go over 68/69º but when playing games Like Assassins or Battlefield in Hardwaremonitor have some peaks to 76º. I known its not constant beacuse i monitoring with afterburn and temps are arround 58/64º i never see near 70º but when i go out game i check Hardwaremonitor and have that maxtemps.

its normal temps for my CPU?
My CPU Cooler its MSI Frozr L

Okay, you have pushed the 8600K and done it very well with a low vcore so you have a good 8600K....The temps are about right, especially with the spikes. I think your CPU cooler is the issue....and not really an issue but something better like an 240mm/280mm AIO or a Noctua or be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 would provide better temps and consistency of temps...but really you are not in a dangerous place with the current overclock and temps...

Yes, think i get a good chip its Made in Vietnam.
start OC with 1.28vcore and took out 0.5 till get 1.25Vcore dont try less v1.25 beacuse think its already good vcore for 4.9Ghz, but iam curious trying less.

Iam using smart fan like 45º 45% -> 55º 55% -> 65º 70% -> 75º 100%
i ilke this cooler is a gift from MSI when i bought my Z390

In these case my temps its nothing worry about, right? everything below 80º its "normal" for an OC CPU?
