Bought FlareX 2x8GB 3200mhz cl14. 2x ram is working at native specs (2400 cl16 1.2v dual channel) fine, both sticks are definitely 3200 flare x ( checked backside) and I can load single stick at xmp, but not both at the same time and while 1st one alone works at xmp 2nd one wont post at all. Is one stick maybe defective?
PC Specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
GA-AB350M-Gaming 3
Thermaltake TR2 Challenger 500W
G.SKILL F4-3200C14D-16GFX
GTX 1070ti
Update: Checked the RAM in CPU-Z to make sure the second module wasnt a lower spec one put in the wrong box and they are both the same. Also I am on latest BIOS, all slots have been tested with working stick and they are not the issue and the memory is from the QVL list for the MB so compatibility isnt the issue.
