Hi there! I was wondering if this thread is for Windows 10 or PC Gaming, but since I'm doing this for gaming I thought it's better suited for gaming.
So have you ever used PS Remote? It let's you stream your PS4 to your Windows PC with 1080p (for the Pro consoles) and low input lag, especially if both devices are connected to the internet through LAN cables, not Wi-Fi. It can also accept input from the keyboard (for chat for example). So, I am looking for something like this, but from one PC to another PC. Maybe you will be wondering why? Well, because in my living room I have a smart tv and a little old laptop which is too old for gaming, but is good enough for the PS Remote. And this laptop is connected to the TV via HDMI. So, I would like to stream my gaming PC (which is in another room like the PS4) to this laptop and them transfer the screen to the TV. The last part doesn't matter tho. If I can get the gaming PC stream / mirror / whatever to the laptop, connecting it to the TV is no problem. The important part here is that, like the PS Remote, the streaming software must recognize input from the mouse and keyboard. BUT...if there is no way, I guess...I'll just buy some wireless mouse and keyboard and use them.
So yeah, I'm looking for a way to access and play on my gaming PC while being in the living room where I have only a smart tv and an old laptop. It works for the PS Remote, so I though that Windows to Windows would be even easier...I guess it's not. I was looking for a solution like a week and because I couldn't find one...I decided to ask here. I found this miracast / Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter, but reviews said it has too much lag and it's not perfect for watching movies, imagine how bad it is for gaming. It's strange that, we have this little Sony software that does the job...and I can't find similar software for Win to Win. I'm on Windows 10 64bit btw, both PC and laptop are.
If I can't find ANY way...I'll just buy some very long HDMI and use wireless mouse, keyboard and joypads...It's something after all.
Thanks for reading my long post and have a nice day ^_^

Solution
Moonlight, the best solution to my problem. I can even stream not only games, but the whole desktop and the whole PC really. The lag on local machine with LAN cable is non existent...we can play fighting games with wireless PS4 controllers and everything works perfect.
