Today I've come to the realization that my PC is under performing. Struggling to get decent enough FPS in games it shouldn't have a problem with. Through videos and these forums I've come to the understanding that the problem is my CPU. Before i say anything else here are my SPECS.
- GTX 1060 6GB
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM
- AMD FX-6300 Six Core Processor
- Honestly Forgotten My Mother Board and cant find any info on it
- 1 TB HHD / 128 GB SSD
With my current specs, I figured that i'd have no problem with current day games on reasonable settings, But that's just not case. At the time of buying my PC i was quite the noobie and didnt plan on playing such demanding games, now i need more.
I'm put in a difficult situation of needing to upgrade my CPU, So i'd like to get some Professionals Opinions on what i should do next. I will most likely need a new motherboard so if you have any suggestions on a good Motherboard + CPU that would work with my current specs that would be greatly appreciated, Thanks -
Another Note, The more budget friendly of course the better, but this is not an immediate problem so i plan to save money to resolve this.
