[SOLVED] ram frequency set

My pc configuration is
I3 8100 mother board Asus Prime B360M-A RAM 8GB(3000 MHZ) of corsair vngence.
I am not able to increase my ram frequency above 2400 mhz.in 2666 mhz it is not booting up .

That cpu supports a max speed of 2400.

The mitherboards supports 2666 but that requires a cpu with 2666 support.
