Dell’s Aurora gaming PC offers $500 in instant savings — Core Ultra 7 265F links up with RTX 5070 Ti for unrivaled firepower
The crushing memory shortage has hiked up prices for some of the more crucial components for a PC build. However, you can still find unbeatable deals on pre-built gaming systems, especially if you don't know or want to go through the hassle of building your own, and now the Alienware Aurora (ACT1250) gaming desktop is available for just $1,979.99, so you can ipgrade your gaming experience and save up to $500 without the hassle or the inflated market prices on computer hardware.
The Alienware Aurora ACT1250 is something you won't feel ashamed to show off to your friends. The gaming system not only rivals some of the best-looking computer cases on the market, but it also has the specifications to back it up as a legit gaming powerhouse. Dell pairs Intel's Core Ultra 7 265F, a 20-core chip, with Nvidia's performant GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, one of the best graphics cards on the market right now. A 240mm AIO liquid cooler keeps the Core Ultra 7 265F adequately cooled during long gaming sessions.
The Alienware Aurora ACT1250's other features include 16GB (2x8GB) of DDR5-5200 memory and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD for storage. The specifications may seem underwhelming, but they provide a good foundation for a gaming system with the possibility for future upgrades.
The Alienware Aurora ACT1250 brings elite gaming performance with its Core Ultra 7 265F and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The next-high-performance system also features 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB M.2 SSD.
Although every component is important in a system, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the standout in the Alienware Aurora ACT1250. The upper mid-range Blackwell-powered graphics card has the necessary firepower for 1440p (2560x1440) and 4K (3840x2160) gaming. For the former, you can expect high to ultra settings with extraordinary framerates, but for the latter, you may have to drop the graphics settings down a notch.
If you're coming from a last-generation GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, you're in for a treat. You can expect up to 18% and 11% better 1440p performance and up to 24% and 14% higher 4K performance at ultra settings, respectively.
Nvidia is currently running a Resident Evil Requiem game bundle valued at $69.99 for purchases of gaming systems with a GeForce RTX 5070 or higher graphics card. The Alienware Aurora ACT1250 qualifies for the promotion, so you'll receive a free digital download code for Resident Evil Requiem on Steam. Capcom's latest installment in the Resident Evil series launches on February 27.
