This was an incredible deal and I'm glad I ran into it in time to order one at this price (it is now back up to $4,800). I have been using a self-built 3930K processor system upgraded with an RTX 2060 during Covid, and even though the processor was introduced in 2011, the system (with 64 GB of Ram) is still rather capable for many tasks, including some gaming. But a formative interest in local AI and more demanding gaming got me looking to upgrade, and I even tested an RTX 5060ti 16GB card (which didn't work well with my ancient system and so was returned). It was when I was looking at Tom's for RAM pricing that I came across this deal, and it has already proven to be a major step up from my other system (which I still use with a KVM switch).

Besides just being fast and very capable (Furmark 1080P running in the 350 fps range), it is a very quiet system. Because I do some music recording, that was a concern that was quickly belayed. Anyway, thanks for the heads up on this and I am very much a happy camper on my second day of ownership.
