We're keeping an eye out for the lowest-priced GPUs during the Amazon Prime Day 2026 event, and keeping those listed here for you. The sad state of the memory industry, which is besieged by insanely large memory orders for AI data centers and AI GPUs, has led to increasing prices for gaming graphics cards. Nvidia is purportedly allocating memory based on the amount of money it can make per GB of VRAM, which has made the situation dire for some models. To help you navigate the pricing crisis, we have compiled this GPU index to monitor the availability and pricing of recent graphics card releases from the current and previous generations.

We update this guide constantly with the best prices in the U.S. for each SKU of GPU from the most recent two generations of Nvidia, AMD, and Intel cards. We're listing the lowest price for an available graphics card, regardless of the manufacturer, so it could be an Asus, Zotac, MSI, Sapphire, Gigabyte, Powercolor, or ASRock-branded card, but it will be the cheapest.

A word of warning, with this list, sometimes the retailers switch to third-party sellers automatically. You must be super vigilant and check sellers to ensure legitimacy. For older generation graphics cards, it can often be difficult to find these cards brand-new and on sale from first-party retailers like Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy, and they are more often than not listed by third parties. Check prices against the current generation of GPUs to understand if you are getting a good deal, or if you're in fact better off paying a little extra for the very latest graphics cards.

Nvidia RTX 50-Series: Lowest Graphics Cards Prices

The latest 50-series graphics cards from Nvidia include the current most powerful consumer GPU - Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090. The RTX 5090 uses the new Blackwell architecture and comes with a massive 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and given the current prioritization for models with lower amounts of VRAM to boost profits, it's a problem getting your hands on one at anything even in the vicinity of a reasonable price. We are tracking all the best GPU deals in the run-up to Amazon Prime Day 2026.

The 50-series range doesn't have the most impressive gen-on-gen performance uplifts on pure rasterization power compared to the 40-series, but it does support new software and tech such as 5th Gen Tensor cores, 4th Gen Ray Tracing cores, DLSS 4.5 with Multi-Frame Generation tech, and Reflex 2. Some of those technologies, like DLSS and frame gen, can help wring the most performance out of those lower-tier cards with less VRAM.

There are 8GB variants of the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti, available at near MSRP prices, with the higher-tier GPUs like the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 in poor supply at any reasonable price.

Nvidia RTX 40-Series: Lowest Graphics Cards Prices

Nvidia's 40-series Ada Lovelace architecture graphics cards include the powerful GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 Super. The 4090 combines a massive 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and Nvidia's 4th generation of Tensor cores for increased ray-tracing ability.

The RTX 40-series cards also feature support for Nvidia's DLSS 3 software for AI frame generation, which helps to increase frame rates on higher resolutions and settings. In general, Nvidia cards are the best choice for ray tracing, with more features than the competition. You'll also generally pay more for Nvidia GPUs relative to similarly performing AMD GPUs.

Unfortunately, RTX 40-series GPUs are no longer being produced, so stock levels have dried up on many card variants. Any available cards for sale have a high chance of being either second-hand or ex-mining hardware, yet still ask for exorbitant prices. Be extra vigilant when shopping for 40-series graphics cards, and buy from a reputable seller. Prices for 40-series cards are also much higher than they should be. They can be a good choice for a second-hand purchase if you can get one at the right price and accept all associated risks.

AMD Radeon RX 9000-Series: Lowest Graphics Cards Prices

AMD's competition to Nvidia includes the Radeon RX 9060, RX 9070, and RX 9070 XT graphics cards with MSRP prices of $269, $549, and $599, respectively. Finding one of these GPUs for that price, however, could prove to be a struggle as prices of Radeon graphics cards rise due to ever-expanding memory price hikes. These new cards go toe-to-toe with Nvidia's RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti and offer a great alternative to Team Green.

The RX 9070 XT comes with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM for those texture-heavy games and provides a large generational increase compared to RDNA 3. Improvements to AI and ray tracing tech have made this generation of AMD cards perform much better in games with ray tracing, but they still fall behind Nvidia in overall performance for ray/path tracing.

There are also 8GB and 16GB versions of the RX 9060 XT available, and they are selling for a fair price at the moment. However, 8GB of VRAM means the card isn't terribly futureproofed, as game requirements continually grow regarding shader and texture memory requirements.

AMD Radeon RX 7000-Series: Lowest Graphics Cards Prices

AMD's 7000-series GPUs are still a great option for a graphics card in your gaming rig if you can find one at a good price. Not the best choice if you're looking for pure ray-tracing performance, but if you want raw computational performance, they are a winner. Combined with AMD's FSR software, these 7000-series GPUs can still crank out high frame rates in the latest games.

The RX 7900 XTX in particular represents a great blend of power and performance, with it being the halo-tier card from the 7000-series and AMD not replicating a super-high-end card for the 9000-series. The RX 7900 XTX still ranks highly in our GPU Benchmark Hierarchy charts.

Intel Arc GPUs: Lowest Graphics Card Prices

Intel's entry into the GPU market has been a little hit-and-miss. In some titles, these cards perform relatively well, but in older DirectX games, the cards suffer from some poor performance issues.

Frequent driver updates have made many improvements to the performance of Intel's Arc lineup and turned them into a much more viable choice for a budget gaming PC build. The prices of these GPUs have hit a price sweet spot that has been abandoned by Nvidia and AMD, especially for 1080p gaming. The Arc series of GPUs should certainly not be discounted when considering any budget gaming system build.

Intel's most recent launches include the Arc B580 and Arc B570, with the cards having 12GB of VRAM for the B580 and 10GB for the B570. Pricing is very competitive with the Intel cards, but the manufacturer's variety is limited, as is stock.

Prices on DDR5 are out of control, but Newegg has a bundle going that makes picking up a kit more bearable. The bundle brings together 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6400 CL36 memory, an MSI X870 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi motherboard, and a Corsair iCue Link H115i cooler for $409.98. That's $3 more than buying the memory alone, essentially giving you the motherboard and cooler for free.

The bundle is technically only for the memory and motherboard, but Newegg is throwing in the Corsair cooler as a freebie right now. You'll still need to get a CPU, but if you pick up one of the many deals on Zen 4/5 CPUs right now, you can make out with nearly a full rig without spending much.

The fact that you're getting a free motherboard and cooler with a DDR5 purchase is already attractive, but even the prices on the individual components in this bundle are good. Less than two months ago, we highlighted a deal on the MSI X870 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi when it dropped to $210. Now, you're getting it essentially for free.

The cooler is the component we have the most testing experience with. We knocked down the Corsair iCue Link H150i (the 360mm version) a bit in our review due to its insanely high price. Here, however, that isn't a factor.

The H150i is a bit behind comparable 240mm coolers, but not by much. The H115i included in this bundle is a 280mm cooler, which is more than enough for all but the most power-hungry chips on the market; and those, at the moment, mostly live in Intel's camp with Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh flagships.

The motherboard features AMD's X870 chipset, which isn't technically its flagship offering. X870E boards offer a few extra bells and whistles, but the MSI X870 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi is still packed with features. It sports a 14+2+1 VRM design, memory speeds up to 8,200MT/s, Wi-Fi 7, 5-Gigabit LAN, and MSI's EZ DIY clips, allowing you to install your M.2 drives without a screwdriver.

It also includes PCIe 5.0 on the top x16 slot and the top M.2 slot. Those two slots don't share any PCIe lanes, so you can get the full speed of PCIe 5.0 on both your storage and GPU.

Thankfully, the DDR5 kit isn't bad here, either. It's a DDR5-6400 CL36 kit. We normally point buyers toward DDR5-6000 kits as the "sweet spot" of memory speeds, but the slightly lower CAS latency on this kit means it comes out with less latency than your standard DDR5-6000 CL38 kit. Plus, there's RGB.

Specs-wise, we're looking at Nvidia's RTX 5050 GPU paired with an Intel Core i5-14400F processor — both solid options for entry-level gaming. Expect consistent 1080p performance, especially in esports titles that leverage the CPU a bit more. You get a single 16 GB stick of DDR5 RAM with one empty slot in case you want to upgrade later when the prices stabilize. There's a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD onboard as well, and plenty of fast USB ports, along with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. While single-channel memory isn't ideal, you'll find single-stick on pretty much every budget build, even from major vendors like HP and Dell, so it's not a sore point in this price bracket.

The motherboard is a completely standard MSI model, and that's the benefit of going with a prebuilt like this: it doesn't feature any proprietary parts. Everything from the case to the power supply is upgradable; it's just been preassembled for your convenience. The entire system is still backed up by a year of warranty, and you even get a basic keyboard and mouse in the box to get going.

Grab the capable Cooler Master NR200 Mini ITX case for under $60

You've got all of your core components for your next ITX build, but in doing so, you are now on a shoestring budget for grabbing the rest. If that's you, you might want to take a look at Cooler Master's NR200 Mini, which was released a fair while ago, but became an incredibly popular case for a good reason: It's cheap, and it's still compact, compared to a mid-tower. Discounted by 45% to just $59.99 at Amazon, you're likely not going to find a better ITX case at this price point.

The roomy case is simple to build into, offering a shrunk-down version of a standard tower PC build. With space for triple-slot GPUs and side-mounted support for radiators of up to 280mm, you can pack a lot into its compact 18-liter chassis. So long as you make sure that everything fits, and you have an SFX power supply to hand, it's hard to see where you might go wrong.

There have been a few different variants of the NR200 over the years, but this one keeps its original, horizontal GPU layout, where the V2 model offered up a vertical mount instead. We reviewed the NR200 Max in 2021, which came with a slightly different layout, and a bundled AIO and cooler. But the build experience will largely be very similar, aside from the horizontal GPU.

Sporting a utilitarian design, this case has been around for a long time for a reason: Cooler Master managed to crack the code on getting out a capable, low-cost ITX case. If you look at the market today, you'll see prices at least double for compact cases like the Fractal Terra or the Thermaltake TR100. There’s still time to save on a performant analog Razer keyboard, still at all-time low pricing

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro caused a bit of a stir when it was released, with its Snap Tap feature, which effectively allowed users to game the way that certain movements occurred in Counter-Strike. In fact, it caused so much of a fuss that anyone caught using it online would be banned. This is made possible by the board’s optical analog switches, which can be adjusted between a 0.1 to 4.0mm actuation point.

Alongside the controversial Snap Tap feature, you also get standard Rapid Trigger functionality, which was pioneered by Wooting, allowing for faster keypresses and reduced debounce times. Now, you can still find this keyboard at a 33% discount over at Amazon, bringing the price down to under $150.

The best gaming chair that we've tested isn't a typical racing-style chair — but it isn't a full office-style task chair, either. There have been some seriously good sales on monitors, especially OLEDs, over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. They can be pretty expensive, however, as they are among the latest and greatest in monitor technology. Sometimes you just need something better than what you have. Grab this MacBook Air with M2 and 16GB of RAM for just $699

We've already mentioned that Walmart is selling the M1 MacBook Air for a ridiculously cheap $499 sale price, and we’ve also mentioned recently that saving up for the $749 M4 model instead is a better way to get a laptop that will last, as it offers better performance, a more modern design, and an improved 13.6-inch, 2560 x 1664 screen.

Now, however, Best Buy has the M2 MacBook Air marked down to only $699, giving you a $100 saving.

The M4 is by far a still more advanced chip, but the M2 model is still worth a deal if you can’t afford the extra cash. This version of the MacBook Air was the first to receive the latest design, including MagSafe, a keyboard with full-sized function keys, and yes, the camera notch.

So you missed the ABS PC in Newegg's Doorbuster deals, so what? There's a great deal still to be had on this MSI Aegis R2 gaming PC, which sports an Intel Core i5-14400F, in addition to an RTX 5050 and 16GB of DDR5 memory, all for just under $600 at Walmart, which is a pretty fair deal at $300 off.

This would be a great machine if you're looking for someone's first-ever gaming PC, or if you're on a shoestring budget. PC prices aren't looking too great at the moment, especially with the price of DRAM rising, so locking in a price like this is a smart investment.

This PC will manage to run games at 1080p resolutions well, with ample power for anything you might want to run, especially in competitive titles, which are a bit easier to run than the big AAA games. That's not to say the 5050 won't be able to handle them at all, just bear in mind that you're probably not flicking all your settings up to Ultra, or running things at the highest resolutions with this build.

On most prebuilts of this nature, manufacturers usually skimp out on the motherboard. Luckily, this build features support for Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E, meaning that you're not going to have to pick up any pesky adapters to get those little quality-of-life features, which aren't always a given.

Packaged up with Windows 11, alongside a basic MSI keyboard and mouse, the only thing you'll need to add to make this a full setup is an adequate gaming monitor. I’ve bought so much Elegoo Rapid PETG filament for my 3D printer lately, and this is a great deal!

Four 1KG spools of PETG filament for $39 is a decent price, but when it’s Rapid PETG, it is an even better bargain, thanks to this deal at Amazon. A roll is usually $15 on its own, so you are getting one roll for free. Just note that to access the deal, you must be an Amazon Prime member.

As 3D printers get faster, they chew through filament at a higher rate and not all filaments are designed to handle the increased demand of a hungry extruder. Rapid PETG is designed for faster 3D printers such as the Elegoo Centauri Carbon and it can work up to 600MM/s. I’ve used this filament for many projects including my PC server case, a recent super-sized “Lego” holiday wreath and tool holders around my workshop. All of which were printed on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon.

PETG is a tough thermoplastic. It has similar strength to ABS (but without the stink) and prints as easily as PLA. PETG is more for functional projects than decorative. That said, PETG’s shine can be aesthetically pleasing for certain projects and persons.

Once you get below $100, it's hard to expect miracles out of a gaming keyboard. Critically, it includes a gasket mount, situating the plate between a series of silicon gaskets to soften the typing the feel and help mitigate the dreaded ping of most gaming keyboards.

It's increasingly difficult to find a decent gaming laptop under $1,000, but the HP Omen 16 clears that mark with flying colors with this Cyber Monday sale. It sports an RTX 5050, 16GB of memory, a 1TB SSD, and an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, and it's on sale for $600 off, bringing the price down to $799.

You shouldn't expect top-tier performance, but the RTX 5050 is still capable of driving the 1920 x 1200 internal display at 165Hz. This is HP's designed "slim" model of the Omen 16, which it debuted earlier this year, 16% slimmer than the original Omen 16 while carrying similar components. AT $799, the Omen 16 Slim is down to its lowest price we've ever seen, shaving $50 off the previous low we spotted earlier this year.

The QD-OLED display will surely be a looker too, and it's packed with all of the gaming features you can shake a stick at.

I've been using the non-E (Wi-Fi 6) version of this card (also on sale for $30) for several years in my primary living room PC, and it's worked flawlessly. This model uses an Intel AZ210 Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 card, under a heatsink and supported by a serious antenna.

The Corsair 6500D Airflow isn't technically on sale, but Newegg is offering a massive $100-off coupon for the midtower chassis right now. On sale, the $169.99 case is on sale for just $69.99. That's the lowest price we've seen on this case by a huge margin; the previous low was $129.99, and the case usually sells for its $170 list price.

The 6500D features a dual-chamber design reminiscent of Lian Li's PC-O11, but it comes with a mesh front and top panel. Internally, the motherboard tray supports reverse connection boards with Asus' BTF and MSI' Project Zero branding, and it includes mounts for two 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch drives. Save $30 on the fastest productivity CPU on the market, plus get a free 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler

AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X still sits at the top of our CPU hierarchy when it comes to productivity performance, and although the new Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D push ahead in gaming performance, AMD's original Zen 5 flagship still puts up a hell of a fight. You can still save $30 off the chip at Newegg with a coupon code, as well as nab a free MSI MAG Coreliquid A13 360 all-in-one liquid cooler.

AMD's X3D chips are the cream of the crop for gaming, but the Ryzen 9 9950X isn't far behind. It's almost identical to the Core i9-14900K in gaming performance (Intel's current fastest gaming CPU) while maintaining better 1% lows on average. In productivity workloads, it dominates our multi-threaded performance rankings. It takes a slight backseat to the Core Ultra 9 285K in single-threaded tasks, but that's an area where Intel has maintained a lead for several generations.

For the cooler, we praised the MSI MAG Coreliquid A13 for its low price and solid thermal performance in our review, though we were critical of the performance of the 240mm version. It's not "the strongest or quietest [AIO] on the market," our reviewer Albert Thomas wrote, but it's hard to argue with given that it's free with an excellent flagship CPU. - Jake Roach

Save $43 on the chic Fractal Design Ridge case as it drops to just over $100

The Fractal Ridge is one of my favorite mini-ITX cases, not because it's perfect, but because it just looks so good. For the next 12 hours, Newegg has it on sale for $43 off, dropping the price down to $101.99. That's not technically the lowest price it's ever dropped to, but it's close. We've seen it go as low as $99, but only for a brief time more than a year ago.

There are trade-offs with any mini-ITX case, and the Ridge is no exception. It's noisy under load, and you'll likely run into thermal issues if you hope to pack in a flagship like the Core i9-14900K or Ryzen 9 9950X. However, its unique design allows up to a four-slot GPU, which is a level of compatibility you almost always have to trade with a small form factor case. - Jake Roach

This $89 LG gaming monitor is a great value and it's still on sale

Sub-$100 monitors can be a mixed bag — lack of reliability and outdated specs can leave a bad impression. But this 27-inch LG display, on sale at Walmart, which includes a top 1,920 x 1,080 screen resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate for just $89, is a great option.

With Walmart slashing the price of this display by 47%, you're getting crazy bargain with these specs. 1080p might seem basic, but — as I regularly remind anyone who listens — it's still the main option for gamers, based on the last Steam hardware survey. And it means you can game with this display using an older PC, too.

To help you play, this display comes with a refresh rate that maxes out at 144Hz using its overclock mode, with a standard rate of 120Hz. Combined with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync support, which will sync your refresh rate to your GPU's frame rate, you should experience smooth, fluid visuals with no screen tearing on this display.

Ultimately, though, it's the cost that will drive people to a monitor like this. $89 makes it one of the cheapest models available right now from a brand you'd recognize. I own the lesser 67W version of this charger, and it's one of my favorite travel chargers. I tend to bring the small charging brick with me, and leave the two-outlet power strip at home. The only thing I don't like is that the power prongs don't fold down into the charger, but that's a pretty minor inconvenience.

If you’ve gone ahead and bought yourself a TKL or smaller keyboard, it can sometimes feel like you’re missing out on the 10-key numpad. Let’s be real, that was the most useful bit of those hulking keyboards, anyway. As a recovering MMO player, I used MMO mice for years before I realized the true value of these little key-filled powerhouses.

For example, I use a 65% keyboard, and when I am not gaming, I have the trusty mouse for any numbers and a handful of symbols. In MMO games, I also have way more functionality on hand than I would normally. One of the cheapest RTX 5080 gaming PCs is now even cheaper?

You can still grab this Aurora Gaming Desktop with an RTX 5080, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB M.2 SSD, as well as a 1000W power supply for just $1,800 at Alienware. This is the type of steal you won't see for long as the memory shortage intensifies — but it was actually $15 more expensive when we covered it earlier.

You also get an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor and a 240mm liquid cooler. All together, this deal brings the price down from an estimated $2,600 to a much more affordable $ 1,800. - Stephen Warwick

You've seen the standard monitor sizes floating around online stores: the now-standard 27", and the desirable 32" and 35" ultra-wides. But have you experienced the immersion of a properly humongous 43" display? You can have one for cheap, as Best Buy is selling the Samsung Neo G7 UHD 43" display for $499.99 right now, or about 40% off its usual $699.99 price.

This veritable wall of pixels comes with a 3840x2160 (4K) resolution, and its bright VA panel is lit by a mini-LED array, granting it a nominal brightness of 400 nits and a DisplayHDR 600 certification. The refresh rate is 144 Hz, pretty speedy and definitely more than enough for any high-powered PC or console. As for variable refresh rate support, there's FreeSync Premium Pro on tap, and even though the monitor isn't in Nvidia's official G-Sync Compatible list, we've read reports that it works as expected in that mode.

The listed response time is 1 ms MPRT, though since it's a VA panel, it's likely using some form of overdrive for blur-free gaming. Samsung arguably makes the best VA panels, so we're fairly confident this monitor can deliver in that department. The panel has a matte finish and is ensconced in very thin bezels except for the bottom, where a pair of RGB LED light strips and speakers reside.

As a note, although Samsung calls this display's backlight "quantum mini LED", it's a 360-zone affair and not a full-blown mini-LED array as you'd expect. Even then, we reckon this is a far superior offer than edge LED lighting and should make for a nice HDR experience, and at this price, we're not arguing.

Samsung positions the Odyssey Neo G7 as a potential Smart TV as well as a monitor, and it delivers on that promise with built-in software for multiple types of TV and game streaming services, and an included remote. Whether you're looking to acquire this for your PC setup or to place it next to your console in your bedroom, it's a steal at $499.99.

And just in case you'd like something similar but even more colorful and bigger, also at an amazing price, you can take a peek at the LG B5 series 48" OLED 4K TV. This model is going for $549.99 at Best Buy (27% off), and carries an OLED panel with perfect blacks and inky colors. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and Dolby Vision support is on tap. Likewise, it's compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

Over Cyber Monday, Newegg's bundles have been a bastion for RAM prices. As DDR5 modules continue to surge, it's getting increasingly difficult to put together a PC at a reasonable price. With this bundle, you essentially get the 32GB kit of Corsair Vengeance for free, plus an extra $320 off the Core Ultra 9 285K and motherboard combo.

We've seen these bundles go in and out of stock at Newegg over the weekend, so make sure to refresh the page a few times if the bundle isn't available right away.

Although a good deal on memory is the main draw here, the lion's share of the price goes toward the high-end Core Ultra 9 285K and Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Master AI TOP motherboard. It's no secret that Intel's latest Arrow Lake offerings lag behind AMD's Zen 5 chips, but the Core Ultra 9 285K is still extremely fast, especially at this price.

As you can see from the results gathered in our Core Ultra 9 285K review, the main issue with this chip is its gaming performance. The X3D chips from AMD claim the top slots, unsurprisingly, but the Core Ultra 9 285K also underperforms compared to the Core i9-13900K, Core i9-14900K, and Core i7-14700K.

Although the Core Ultra 9 285K doesn't top the gaming charts, its performance drop is mostly relevant at 1080p. With such a high-end CPU and motherboard, this is a rig you'll probably pair with at least a 1440p monitor, and likely a 4K one. At those higher resolutions, the Core Ultra 9 285K's lagging gaming performance starts to disappear.

This isn't the bundle to buy if you're only concerned with gaming performance; however, the Core Ultra 7 265K offers marginally lower gaming performance for much less. The Core Ultra 9 285K earns its stripes with productivity performance. AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X still holds the top spot in multi-threaded performance, outpacing the Core Ultra 9 285K by a slim 5%. That's despite Intel ditching Hyper-Threading with its Arrow Lake chips, leaving its CPUs with far fewer threads to play with.

Looking at single-threaded performance, it's clear how big Intel's core advantage is. It's 7% ahead of the Ryzen 9 9950X, which is a sizable jump considering how radically different the Arrow Lake architecture is.

For the motherboard, we reviewed the older Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Master (sans AI TOP branding), which is identical to the one offered here. In our testing, the board delivered strong thermal performance for the VRMs and plenty of overclocking headroom, which is expected from a board that normally retails for $600.

Outside of the performance, the Z890 Aorus Master comes with loads of connectivity. You get 10-Gigabit Ethernet along with Wi-Fi 7 support, as well as dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and four M.2 slots with PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds. The board uses Gigabyte's EZ-Latch system for the PCIe and M.2 slots, allowing you to install your components without a screwdriver.

The case provides all the features you'd expect from a mid-tower case, including AIO radiator accommodation, tempered glass side panel, integrated intake and exhaust fans, storage trays that support 3.5" and 2.5" SSDs, all packed in a sleek package with a mesh front panel.

We never reviewed the vanilla Pop version, but we did review its silent counterpart and gave it a four-star rating for its excellent sound profile. Still, the regular Air variant fixes our biggest complaint with the Silent version, that being the previous chassis's lack of airflow.

The Pop Air sports a mesh front panel paired with two 120mm intake fans that come from the factory. There is also an additional 120mm in the rear that comes stock, which helps exhaust air out of the case. For those who love liquid cooling, there is enough room to fit a single 280mm in the front, 240mm up top, and 120mm in the rear.

There are four storage trays on the chassis out of the box, consisting of two 3.5"/2.5" drive bays and two SSD brackets behind the motherboard tray that support two more 2.5" SSDs. GPU support is excellent, supporting cards as long as 355mm, which is enough to support most large graphics cards on the market, including non-flagship third-party RTX 5090 cards. For those going for an air-cooled setup on the CPU, the Pop Air supports CPU air towers up to 170mm in height. That's enough height to run Noctua's flagship NH-D15 G2 and its new Chromax black variants.

Sadly, only the black version of the normally colorful Pop Air is available with the aformentioned 40% discounted price. Regardless, for just $60, you are getting a chassis from a very reputable case manufacturer that normally competes with cases in the $100-$120 range, which is capable of working with entry-level and high-end hardware. You can find adequate cases in the $60 range, probably some with just as good airflow as the Pop Air, but chassis that cost triple-digit prices (like the Pop Air) typically have more quality of life features, such as better cable management, better construction, and higher quality materials.

Everyone is looking for a good deal on DDR5, and they’re hard to come by due to skyrocketing pricing and a massive shortage that only worsens by the day. We’ve seen a random motherboard fly off the shelves because it included a free kit of DDR5 over the holiday weekend, and prebuilts are cheaper than DIY desktops, even with Cyber Monday deals aplenty. The key to finding a DDR5 deal might not be refreshing the same listings over and over until the price magically drops. It might be looking in the corner of the shelf for a non-binary kit.

Over the holiday weekend, we’ve seen a shift away from the traditional 32GB and 64GB kits toward 48GB and 96GB kits, with the latter batch often competing (or outright beating) the more popular capacities on price. It looks like retailers, resellers, and buyers are catching on. Cheap 48GB and 96GB kits aren’t as common as they were a few days ago, but if you’re looking to score the absolute best deal on a kit of DDR5, you should look into your non-binary options.

Here’s the situation right now: A good deal on a 32GB kit of DDR5 is better than a regular deal on a 48GB kit. A couple of days ago, you could save $100 or more on a 48GB kit compared to a 32GB kit, but that ship has sailed for now. As the options dwindle, non-binary kits offer more capacity for around the same price, or give you an alternative route to picking up a kit that’s otherwise out of stock.

Here’s a good example. On Newegg, you can pick up a 48GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-5200 kit for $380 from a third-party seller. It’s below the “sweet spot” of DDR5-6000 and comes with a fairly high CAS latency for the transfer rate at 38, but it’s cheaper than buying a comparable 32GB kit.

At 32GB, the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 CL38 kit is $405. You can find cheaper DDR5 kits, especially on a good sale – our Managing Editor Matt Safford spotted a 32GB kit around $200 a few hours ago, which unsurprisingly sold out immediately. But, in this case, you’re getting more memory for less money. The price per gigabyte calculation on memory doesn’t hold up as it does on SSDs, but when RAM prices are continuing to skyrocket with no sign of slowing down, you have to fudge the numbers to justify a purchase.

The best case scenario, apart from deep sales, is that you can find a better non-binary kit for around the same price as a binary kit. That’s the situation with Crucial Pro memory right now. A 32GB kit of DDR5-6400 CL38 is selling on Amazon for $389. The DDR5-6400 CL32 kit is sold out.

On B&H, the Teamgroup T-Create Expert 48GB kit is selling for $389, and it not only has the same 6400 MT/s transfer rate, but also a lower CAS latency at 32. That’s lower latency, more capacity, and the exact same price. Depending on what kit you compare this Teamgroup kit to, it actually ends up cheaper. A lot of 32GB kits are selling for north of $400 right now.

Non-binary memory with 24Gb dies are more insulated from the surging cost of DRAM modules than traditional 16Gb dies. AI and its demand for HBM is the current named culprit of the RAM shortage, but regardless of whether you look at the consumer or enterprise market, the reason for the insulation of 24Gb dies is the same: 16Gb dies are much more common.

With the pricing tides raging, suppliers and resellers are catching onto the pricing discrepancy between binary and non-binary kits. However, the binary kits are likely going to see the largest and most immediate shifts in pricing and supply. As we all continue to weather the storm of DDR5 prices, I suspect non-binary memory will lag behind binary memory, if only by a few days.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to confirm that hunch. DRAMeXchange doesn’t maintain spot prices for 24Gb dies. However, that’s further evidence that 16Gb dies make the DRAM world go round right now, opening up opportunities to save on non-binary kits.

Suppliers are warning that the DRAM market surge is only just beginning, and that it will continue into at least 2026 and maybe beyond. If demand keeps pace, it could be until 2028 before the pricing situation clears up as memory manufacturers build out production capacity.

If you happen to spot a deal on a non-binary kit of memory, you’re safe to use it with current AMD and Intel platforms. You may need to perform a BIOS update, however, so make sure to check compatibility with your motherboard.

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro aRGB CPU cooler is once again down to its lowest price of $17.99 (29% off) on Newegg, as opposed to its listed price of $25.49. With this price cut, it is currently one of the cheapest tower-style coolers out there, and a compelling choice for PC builders with an entry or mid-range CPU.

The original Hyper 212 launched almost two decades ago and, since then, has gone through multiple revisions, adapting to various generations of CPUs. The Hyper 212 Pro, launched last year alongside the Hyper 212 Black Edition, features a similar-looking black single-tower heatsink but with an upgraded 120mm Sickleflow Edge ARGB fan that produces up to 70.7 CFM of air flow at 32.8 dBA. It also comes with four superconducting composite heat pipes that utilize various evaporator and condenser wick structures to dissipate heat from the CPU.

The cooler supports modern CPU sockets, including AMD AM5/AM4 and Intel LGA 1851/1700. In terms of case clearance, it measures 152mm in height, which should allow it to fit inside a majority of PC cabinets. Thanks to the asymmetrical heat pipe layout and design, the cooler offers better RAM clearance compared to previous generations.

According to Cooler Master, the Hyper 212 Pro is capable of cooling CPUs with up to 230W TDP, although we recommend going for something more capable, especially if you have an AMD Ryzen 9 or Intel Core Ultra 9/Core i9 CPU. We highly recommend going through our list of the best CPU coolers if you are looking for something more robust, like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE.

Granted that the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro may not be the best-performing air cooler, but at its discounted price of $18, it is a no-brainer for anyone planning to cool an entry-level chip without relying on stock coolers. Make sure you hurry, as the deal is for a limited period only.

With Black Friday officially over and Cyber Monday on our doorstep, there are still ways that you can build a fantastic gaming PC this weekend, even in the face of some pretty tough PC hardware pricing landscapes.

Putting together a great PC during this weekend isn't the easiest task. With spiraling RAM prices, SSD inflation, GPU shortages, and information overload around every corner, sometimes you just want someone to do the legwork for you.

We've scoured all the best Cyber Monday PC hardware deals going right now to put together a PC that can game however you want, including at 4K, without breaking the bank. And I'm afraid we've got some bad news. Despite our best efforts, rising DDR5 prices and creeping component prices mean that, try as we might, we weren't actually able to match the best Cyber Monday pre-built PC we've seen, this Alienware Aurora with an RTX 5080.

Our version, which you can see below, comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a Radeon RX 9070 XT, and while it was more expensive than our previous attempts at this spec, we were feeling pretty pleased with ourselves.

However, this Alienware Aurora alternative features an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF and a much better GPU. We might be missing out on the X3D cache from AMD, but instead, you get an RTX 5080, 16GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD, as well as a 1000W PSU and a liquid cooler. We beat Alienware for RAM, but even then, you can upgrade this Alienware PC to 32GB of RAM for just $100 more, pricing the enthusiast DIY market has no answer for.

Gaming laptops are a great way to take your entertainment with you on the go, unbound by a sprawling desktop setup. Whether you're looking to upgrade from an older machine or just want something on the side that can get the job done comfortably, we have spotted a great budget-conscious deal for you: Acer's Nitro V is on sale on Walmart right now, with the 16-inch AMD version going for $629 while the 15.6-inch Intel version is just $579. Let's break down both.

First up, we have the Acer Nitro V 16 AI, powered by the 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 240 processor and Nvidia's RTX 5050 laptop GPU, with a 95W TGP and 8 GB VRAM. That hardware combo is enough to give you solid 1080p performance across a variety of titles, with features like DLSS and frame-gen helping in demanding scenarios. The laptop itself sports a plastic shell, but doesn't feel super cheap and has good reviews online. You get a 16-inch, 1200p 180 Hz display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, so it's far from entry-level in that aspect. The keyboard is backlit; there's USB 4 and microSD card support, along with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Lastly, the 76 Wh battery should serve you well when trying to get some work done while unplugged.

Next up is the Acer Nitro V 15, which is on an even better sale, saving you an insane $350 for a laptop that's almost the same size. We're looking at an Intel processor here, with the Core i5-13420H rocking 8 cores and 12 threads, paired with the same 95W RTX 5050. You also get 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage here, and the design of the laptop is mostly identical, too.

Despite being cheaper than its AMD counterpart, you can expect similar gaming performance at 1080p, made to look great on its 15.6-inch panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate. We don't get USB 4 or Wi-Fi 6E here to cut some costs, but the battery is stil 76 Wh and the keyboard is still backlit, with a number of other ports to ensure optimal connectivity.

Both of these laptops are worthy picks for a value-consious gamer or someone who's looking to finally get into PCs but is scared off by the rising cost of RAM and storage. You'll get decent performance in even AAA titles, with esports games being a breeze, along with some light video editing or productivity tasks like coding. Grab the Acer Nitro V 16 AI for $629 if you prefer AMD, or the Acer Nitro V 15 for just $579 if you prefer Intel.

Dell has been slashing prices on Alienware gaming PCs throughout Black Friday, but it's gone even further for Cyber Monday. Two of its Aurora PCs with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards have just seen a further drop in price, but the affordable option is this Intel-powered rig that's now priced for under $2,000 and for a whopping $730 less than its usual price.

Alienware is a brand that typically sees premium prices, so a discount as big as this one is brilliant to see. The $1,749 sale price on the first model, featuring Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU and 16GB of DDR-5200 RAM, is an absolute steal for under $2,000, with Cyber Monday pushing the price down by $60 compared to the weekend, making it one of the cheapest RTX 5080 PCs you can buy right now.

The 265F is one of Intel's latest CPUs and comes with 20 cores, eight of which are performance cores (good for gaming) with a further 12 efficiency cores, which are good for multi-threaded tasks. This machine also comes with a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD.

The big focus here, however, is the Nvidia graphics card. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 is the second-best consumer GPU, by performance, that you can buy right now, with a whopping 10,752 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM. It's a 4K-capable gaming GPU with all the goodies, like full ray tracing and multi-frame gen, thanks to DLSS 4 support.

If you need a bit more of a boost, another model features a $2,399 sale price, compared to as high as $3,199 before. That's a drop of $100 since last week, and a total $800 savings overall, making this a seriously good value option to consider if your budget stretches a little further.

For your money, you're getting the same RTX 5080 build and typical Aurora case design, along with a monstrous 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. This memory is faster than the model above, too, as it's DDR-6400, rated for 6,400M/Ts.

Both SKUs feature a 1000W platinum-rated power supply, along with a 240mm liquid cooler with Alienware's AlienFX lighting, which you can customize and control using the Alienware Command Center app. While these are the prices for these configurations, you can customize your rigs to suit your needs, although you will see updated pricing as a result.

You will struggle to find better prices on RTX 5080-powered gaming PCs with these specs for Cyber Monday, especially on the sub-$2000 model. If you're thinking about upgrading your setup, a pre-built rig from a trusted gaming brand like this could be one of your best options, but don't expect these prices to stick around for very long.

If you find yourself needing extra storage for your games or for moving data between devices without a network connection, a portable storage solution is a nice thing to have. Smaller is better for portability, but it doesn't have to equal less capacity. Today's deal is on a 4TB external SSD that you can connect via USB-C to all manner of devices, from your games console to your mobile phone, to the usual laptops and desktop PC, or even your cameras. And if you have the right ports on your device (USB 3.2 Gen 2 2x2), you can reach up to 20 Gbps.

The X10 Pro measures approximately 2.5 inches and features a solid metal chassis rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. It also advertises drop resistance from heights no greater than 7.5 feet, which should more than cover the average use case. Inside the chassis is a small SSD with speedy read and write speed transfer rates up to 2100MB/s over USB 3.2. The X10 Pro uses a Type-C USB connection and cable.

The Cyber Monday sales are officially here, but if you’ve already filled your boots up with the big stuff like a new PC or a keyboard, what else is there to buy? This 3.5-inch Hagibis mini screen is what you need. This is both a retro desk ornament and a fully-functional LCD display with a built-in SD card reader and USB hub, and it’s plummeted in price to a new record low.

Techies are the absolute target market for a gadget like this 3.5.-inch Hagibis mini monitor, especially with a $79.99 sales price, down from as high as $109.99 earlier in the year, according to Camelcamelcamel’s data. Sure, this Hagibis display might not be able to compete with the big OLED displays, and it certainly isn’t the biggest monitor you’ll see on sale, but its design is a lovely nostalgic throwback, with a set of seriously good features that would make for a brilliant addition to your setup.

That’s mainly down to its 3.5-inch IPS panel and a 178° viewing angle. While the size obviously restricts you from using it as your daily driver, it features support for resolutions stretching from 800 x 600 to 2,560 x 1,600, although the screen’s native resolution is 960 x 640. You’re probably going to want to stick to that or closer for the sharpest image, but your mileage may vary, so it’s worth testing it out to see what works best, and what you can actually end up reading on-screen if you do.

This Hagibis monitor also has a great set of connections with it, too, allowing you to use it as an attractive desk hub. It has SD and TF card slots, a USB-C port, and two USB-A ports on the front with Gen 3.1 speeds. At the rear, it features a 5V USB-C power connector, HDMI port, as well as a 3.5aux audio connector for speakers and headphones, as well as a USB-C port labeled as host, which you’ll need to use to hook it up to your PC for it to work as a USB hub.

I can already think of a dozen use cases for a monitor like this. First, it looks fantastic, sitting on your desk like some kind of 1980s throwback. From a more practical point of view, however, this is perfect for any small-size tasks or notifications you need.

I could see myself using this as a screen for an alarm clock or timer app, to monitor a running Discord chat, as a photo album, or to keep an eye on PC health with temperature and resource usage stats. You could also use it for streaming video, especially if you’re using your main monitor for more important things. The display also has built-in widgets you can fall back to, including digital clock and ambient temperature widgets.

This is a gorgeously retro, fully functional mini monitor and hub for your PC or laptop. This Hagibis display’s $79.99 sale price is only here for Cyber Monday, however, so if it doesn’t sell out, you’re going to want to jump on it now before the deal runs out.

With DDR5 prices on a historic rise due to massive AI demand, the last thing I expected to wake up to on Cyber Monday morning was a sweet deal on a 32GB kit of DDR5-6000. And yet, here we are as Newegg is selling the Patriot Viper Venom 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PVV532G600C36K) kit for just $209.

Technically, that's just $10 off, but it's the lowest-priced 32GB DDR5 kit on Amazon right now, with the closest name-brand competitor being a Crucial 6400 kit for $289. And 6000MT/s is the sweet spot for gaming performance, so there's no real reason to opt for faster RAM (especially in today's volatile market).

No one is going to say that this kit's 36-36-36-76 timings and CL36 CAS Latency are stellar. But this kit is plenty capable of gaming and productivity, while somehow being cheaper than pretty much everything else right now. If you want the best RAM right now, you'll have to pay several hundred dollars more.

We're all basically RAM beggars at this point, so we can't exactly be choosers. If you can't afford this kit, you'll have to opt for something like this $129 Team Group kit instead (which might get you by for now, but you'll probably regret it later). If you're planning on building or upgrading a PC in the next few months, I'd snatch this kit up. There's a good chance you won't see anything more affordable for a long time as AI hardware demand continues to consume the world's memory supply.

Everyone's been trying to get around the fallout on DDR5 prices, but you can score a 32GB kit for less by going with a prebuilt desktop. There's no better evidence of that than the MSI Codex R2 with an RTX 5060, Core i5-14400F, 2TB of storage, and 32GB of DDR5, which is on sale for just $899.

For the price, the specs all add up here. The Core i5-14400F is behind Intel's current best gaming CPU, the Core i7-14700K, and the RTX 5060 is mostly suited for 1080p gaming, bolstered by DLSS Super Resolution and Multi-Frame Generation. The two points that are surprising are RAM and storage. You get 2TB of storage — 1TB is more common at this price — and 32GB of memory.

It's no surprise that RAM prices are surging, with most 32GB kits going for around $350 to $450 over the holiday weekend. Shave that cost off the price of the MSI Codex R2, and you're getting the rest of the components for around $500. That's an incredible deal.

For 1080p gaming, this configuration is just about perfect. The RTX 5060 currently ranks as our best value GPU in our GPU hierarchy when looking at FPS per dollar. It's hamstring by an 8GB frame buffer, but thankfully, that limitation doesn't impose itself too often at 1080p.

You could run into VRAM limitations if you step up to 1440p, though it's hard to say for sure. Different games and engines stress VRAM in different ways, and using tools like upscaling or frame generation can throw off the frame buffer math, as well.

On the CPU end, the Core i5-14400F is great for a 1080p gaming rig. Although we weren't positive on the CPU in our Intel Core i5-14400 review, that was mainly due to its last-gen comparison. The Core i5-13400 (and its F-series variant) offers performance within a point or two of the Raptor Lake Refresh chip.

As you can see from our benchmark results, the Core i5-14400F sits at the bottom of our results for gaming performance. It's certainly the weakest link in this system, but the LGA1700 motherboard allows you to easily slot in something like the Core i7-14700K for an in-place CPU upgrade down the line.

The important thing when looking at this PC is that DDR5. Given where prices are, and where they're headed over the next several years, securing a 32GB kit gives you a ton of flexibility for upgrades in the future.

In comparison to the Nintendo Switch 2's launch, there is now plenty of stock of these microSD cards, with Samsung's P9 Express only releasing onto the market fairly recently. With these sales and the festive holidays on the near horizon, this is a great opportunity to snap one of these cards up early as a stocking filler.

SanDisk's microSD card can deliver impressive read speeds of up to 880MB/s and write speeds of up to 650MB/s, with a sustained write speed of 220MB/s. The new microSD Express cards are required for the Nintendo Switch 2 console, due to the much faster transfer speeds over standard microSDXC cards. This allows games to install, load, and stream data much faster, for a better gameplay and user experience.

Although these tiny SD cards pale in size to an M.2 SSD (2280), the P9 Express and SanDisk cards leverage the NVMe protocol using a PCIe 3.0 x1 interface. That enables maximum sequential read speeds of up to 880 MB/s, with random read/write endurance rated at 65,000 IOPS and 52,000 IOPS, respectively, to contend with the best microSD Express cards.

MicroSD Express cards have roughly 4x the performance of a standard UHS-I card, an essential requirement for use in Nintendo's latest console. Speed is king when loading large textures and other assets. This fast, SSD-like storage is perfect for the Switch 2, but would not be as useful for the likes of the Steam Deck, where the card would only operate at standard microSD speeds.

Cyber Monday is upon us, and there are still PC hardware bargains aplenty. The Gigabyte board is micro ATX, and lacks PCIe 5.0, but it does include Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5GbE, two M.2 slots and four SATA ports. So storage isn't going to be an issue for most builds.

The Team Group RAM also isn't top-end by any means. But it's no slow slouch, either, rated for DDR5-6000 speeds (AMD EXPO and Intel XMP ready), which is actually the sweet spot for gaming performance on AMD's current platform. Of course, 16GB isn't great for a gaming rig that you want to last for years. But hey, it's hard to argue with 'free' RAM when the stuff has been surging 500% lately thanks to AI demand.

Now and again, you come across a product so excellent within such a narrow category that it makes you marvel at the effort put into its creation. While browsing for Cyber Weekend deals, we spotted exactly such a product. The "SinLoon External Power Button for Desktop, PC Power Switch, Push Button, Manual Operation, Black" is precisely what it says on the tin: a 2-meter cable that connects to your PC's front-panel headers and ends in a pair of mechanical keyboard switches. We don't want to understate how hard the manufacturer went on this thing. The two key switches that serve as your PC's power and reset buttons are made to look like Cherry MX-compatible mechanical keyboard switches, and SinLoon claims they're good for over 5 million keystrokes. Hopefully, you don't need to press either of these buttons five million times. Besides the buttons, there are also connectors for the PC's power LED and disk access LEDs.

The keys rest in a smooth black plastic case with a wire that extends to the PC itself, and that's where we find this product's next trick: an included "1 to 2 splitter" that allows you to connect both the external power and reset buttons as well as the standard case front connectors. It's just a basic physical adapter, so even if your pinout doesn't match the documentation's, you can move the headers around until they're all in the right place.

As much as we want to call this a novelty product for how overbuilt it is, it could honestly be quite valuable for some folks. There are many situations where it could help: folks with back issues or mobility problems who can't easily press a floor-bound PC's power button, or scenarios where the PC ends up in a secured position that makes it inconvenient to push the front panel buttons.

Ideally, you shouldn't have to do that too often, but a product like this makes it completely trivial when you inevitably do. There are also cases like our hardware test labs, where the open-air testbed chassis don't include front panel connectors; a product like this steps in nicely for budget boards that don't have on-board power and reset connectors.

Frankly, we can think of many less-fruitful ways to spend eight-and-a-half bucks. For overclockers, for folks who are extremely sensitive to aesthetics (and want to hide an ugly desktop PC), or simply for enthusiasts who enjoy the feeling of a big, clicky key to power on their PC, SinLoon's external power button could make an excellent stocking stuffer or gag gift.

This formidable display is 27 inches wide and uses an IPS panel, which offers better viewing angles and no color distortion, at least compared to rival tech. A top resolution of 2,560 x 1,440, combined with a 180Hz refresh rate, make this a fine option for gaming, with the boost from 1080p ensuring that you enjoy sharper visuals and finer details in any big cinematic games you play.

I've been using TVs as monitors since before a cheap Seiki model let me compute in 4K on the cheap in 2014. Today, I use a wall-mounted 55-inch LG C1 OLED that I bought in 2021 as my TV and primary monitor (I'm typing this on it right now), and couldn't be happier. Yes, there is some slight burn in at this point, but it's from the annoying home screen of Amazon's Fire TV stick, not from gaming or the thousands of hours I've spent working on it in Windows.

Today, Amazon has its current EVO AI 4K C5 Series on sale for record-low prices. The 42-inch model is down to $824, and the 55-inch version (probably the biggest I'd recommend for productivity) is $1,196. If my burn-in was worse, I'd seriously consider upgrading, but I think I'm going to stick with my 2021 model for another year.

The one thing that I would keep in mind if considering using a TV as a monitor. You'll almost certainly want to wall-mount the screen --- especially if you're going bigger than 42 inches. And paying for a wall mount that lets you pull the screen forward, away from the wall when watching TV or gaming is a good way to effectively get a screen that looks bigger when you aren't working, but still small enough to keep any neck pain at bay when you're churning through TPS reports. So make sure to budget for a good TV mount (and maybe a drill and some good bolts) before buying. -- Matt Safford

If you’re obsessed with refresh rates, but don’t want to spend big or sacrifice on size or resolution, then the Acer Nitro ED270U might be for you. This QHD curved panel has been discounted by $130 over at B&H, and boasts a speedy 300Hz refresh rate, which is ideal for faster-paced games where speed is super-important.

A couple of years ago, I performed a side-by-side controlled test, which offered up images by monitors of different refresh rates next to each other. A 300Hz panel offers up a much clearer image, even with on-screen elements flying past you. In situations like a competitive first-person shooter, I was able to increase my rate of headshots on the wandering head in Counter-Strike using the faster panels, naturally. So, if you’re big on competitive gaming, the better hardware can give you somewhat of an advantage in that test, at the very least.

Now, here’s the kicker. It’s a VA panel, so you can’t expect perfect color uniformity across the whole panel. While this isn’t a deal-breaker, it does affect the image quality on offer here. However, if you’re looking for a capable monitor that can push out a high refresh rate, this might be a great option for you.

The panel is equipped with 2W speakers, which should suffice in a pinch, but I’d recommend hooking up a pair of adequate speakers or gaming headphones to use on the daily instead. You just can’t deny that rapid refresh rate, though. So, if you’re on a shoestring budget, this might offer the speeds you’re looking for. With a $130 saving at B&H, this is a very solid deal, which brings high refresh rates to a more palatable price point. — Sayem Ahmed

If you're looking for a cost-effective upgrade route for a gaming monitor, MSI's MAG 275UPD should definitely be in the running for a spot on your desk (or mounted on your wall). The 4K monitor regularly sells for $309.99, but is currently on sale for $199.99 — a $30 off coupon (BFEFE82) takes the price to just $199.

Although we often see QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution in a 27-inch monitor, the MAG 275UPD ups the ante with a 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS panel with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. Although we haven't yet tested the MAG 275UPD, MSI claims that it covers 130 per cent of sRGB and 90 per cent of DCI-P3. In addition, you'll find two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4a port. If that wasn't enough, there are also two built-in 2-watt speakers.

One other item of note is that the MAG 275UPD supports a dual-mode refresh rate. While the monitor supports up to 144 Hz at 4K resolution, it can reach a maximum of 288 Hz if you step down to Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. — Brandon Hill

Alienware’s 180 Hz 27-inch QHD gaming monitor falls to new low of $179

In today's economy, it's understandable if you don't want to spend $500 or even $400 on a new gaming monitor. But if you're looking to upgrade an older 1080p panel with something with a bit more resolution and a bit more performance, Alienware has a budget-minded offering that might be right up your alley. We've discussed the similar Alienware AW2724DM on these pages several times in the past, and now its AW2725DM sibling is at an all-time low of $179.99 direct from Dell.

AW2725DM is spec'd similarly to the AW2724DM, but adds Nvidia G-Sync compatibility to the existing AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification. The new low price still gets you a 27-inch IPS panel with a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 1 ms response time (in Extreme Mode), and a maximum refresh rate of 180 Hz.

In addition, you'll find support for HDR 600, with the monitor covering 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and reaching a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Multiple input options exist, including two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. A handful of USB ports are also available, including one USB Type-B upstream port and two downstream USB Type-A ports.

We can't all afford the latest UHD, QD-OLED, ultra-fast gaming monitor. But that doesn't mean you have to settle for a small, 60 Hz display if you're on a budget but still want to game. This 34-inch model from Sceptre is down to just $187, with a 165 Hz refresh (180 Hz overdrive), and a nice-for-this-price 3440 x 1440 resolution.

This is a VA panel, which some will see as a downside. But if you're sitting directly in front of this 1500R curved display (which you will likely be while gaming), VA tends to deliver better black levels and color depth than cheaper IPS screens.

The C345B-QUT168 also has RGB lighting on its rear for some ambient gaming glow, as well as four ports. The two HDMI ports top out at 100 Hz, so if you want that ultra-smooth 165 Hz (or more with overdrive), you'll need to use one of the two DisplaPorts. There's also an audio out jack, which you'll probably want to use over the built-in speakers.

The cool thing about the Odyssey 3D is that it can be used in both 3D without glasses and in regular 2D mode. Basically, it’s a top-notch 4K gaming monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate, Adaptive Sync, and HDR10. It’s surprisingly bright, reaching almost 500 nits.

When it comes to 3D without glasses, the Odyssey 3D performs amazingly well, especially if you’re playing a game that supports it. It works with full-screen video, but the number of supported games isn’t huge. Thankfully, there's a dedicated subreddit for this monitor that maintains a guide for getting unsupported games up and running. - Jake Roach

Alienware's ultrawide, 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor discounted to under $500

Alienware's excellent 34-inch ultrawide, the AW3423DWF, has been discounted by $200 just in time for Black Friday. This isn't Alienware's newest panel, but it is still quite good. In our five-star review, we note that it was "hard to imagine a better gaming monitor", and that was at full MSRP.

Dell's website lists the $200 discount, marking an all-time low price for the AW3423DWF. Alongside the 3440x1440 WQHD curved display itself, the monitor features a host of essential gaming features, including a 165Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium Pro, as well as all the image quality you'd expect from a QD-OLED panel. You don't need to bust the piggy bank wide open for a great monitor, and this premium display has everything you'd want from gaming, productivity, and content consumption.

In almost every metric we measured, across color gamut, to brightness, response time, panel uniformity, and of course, contrast ratio, the Alienware AW3423DWF can just about do it all. Sure, you could stand to ask for a faster refresh rate, as newer panels feature, but 165Hz is plenty enough, especially if you predominantly play single-player PC titles.

You'll find two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port for video. As a bonus, the package includes a USB 3.2 hub with four downstream ports. There aren't any speakers on the monitor itself, but it does have a headphone jack for any of your audio needs.

The Alienware AW3423DWF has always been great, and now that the price is half of its original MSRP, it's a great time to buy one on the cheap from Dell before it's too late. – Sayem Ahmed

If you’ve got a decent amount of desk space, or if you have enough room on your wall, this 43-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 has reached its lowest-ever price once again over at Best Buy, at just $499. The MiniLED panel may not quite match the contrast of an OLED, but that doesn’t make it any less performant.

The huge monitor also possesses hybrid capabilities and sports access to Samsung’s Smart TV apps, allowing you to use it as a TV and monitor hybrid. However, the finish on the panel is matte, like a traditional monitor, instead of a glossy TV-like finish.

Equipped with a decent 144Hz refresh rate, the panel offers FreeSync Premium Pro, in addition to a 1ms MPRT, and 400 nits of typical brightness. There’s also support for Samsung’s “Ultrawide game view”, which allows you to switch up the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 21:9, if you want the ultrawide experience while using a traditional monitor.

In terms of ports, expect two HDMI 2.1 ports, in addition to a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, and built-in speakers. At half the original price, this may be a fantastic pickup for those in a dorm room looking for a larger display to double as a TV, or if you have a larger desk. — Sayem Ahmed

Rapid 27-inch Samsung Odyssey G4 gets $100 discount at Best Buy

We’re back with another Samsung panel, but this one is a little different from the 4K behemoth below. If speed is the name of the game, things can get pretty expensive. 1080p monitors are often small, budget-oriented, or have blazing-fast refresh rates (if you are willing to pay for the privilege). So, Samsung’s Odyssey G4 fills a nice gap. Sporting a 27-inch FHD IPS display, capable of spitting out up to a 240Hz, you don’t have to pay top-dollar to get speedy refresh rates.

Now discounted by $130 at Best Buy, this display is still pretty sizable, while carrying a fast refresh rate, which is appealing for those focused entirely on using a capable monitor for competitive gaming.

Just because the display is relatively cheap for the price doesn’t mean it's got some heft under the hood. In addition to 99% sRGB coverage, the Odyssey G4 has a maximum brightness of 400 nits, so you can expect HDR10 support. While the FHD IPS panel might be seen as a negative to some, for competitive games, you want to really saturate that monitor’s refresh rate, and a lower resolution will do just that.

So, if you’re looking for a competitive gaming monitor, this should absolutely be on your list. Larger capable 1080p panels are becoming rarer, so this might be a bit of a unicorn. — Sayem Ahmed

If you’re on a shoestring budget, you don’t have to spend loads for a good enough gaming monitor. The Asus VY249HGR is a 23.8-inch IPS display, with a panel that is capable of running up to 120Hz via an OC. With a 1ms MPRT and AdaptiveSync, you don’t need to spend huge amounts of cash if you’re looking for a small and capable panel, or if you want to have a secondary monitor with an adequate refresh rate.

Offering a 33% discount, which takes the monitor down to a mere $79.99 at Newegg, the display isn’t going to win any awards for features or having the best color reproduction, but at this price point, it’s hard to ask for more.

In terms of resolution, this FHD 1920x1080 display is adequate considering its size, making it more ideal to be used as a secondary monitor for productivity or media playback. In terms of ports, you get one D-sub and an HDMI 1.4 port, meaning there’s no DisplayPort connector here, either. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you might get some use out of it, considering there are no speakers to be found here. OLED doesn’t have to mean expensive, if this monitor deal is anything to go by. This AOC Agon PRO 27-inch OLED has just gotten a 33% discount over at Amazon, plummeting the price to just $399.97. Armed with a fast refresh rate of 240Hz and a 2560x1440 resolution, this is a fantastic sweet spot for those who don’t want to splurge over $500 on a gaming monitor for a mid-range gaming PC build.

Many OLED panels can be at 4K or higher resolutions, and when paired with a fast refresh rate, many gaming PC’s will struggle to fully saturate those panels. It’s a demanding resolution, and when paired with higher refresh rates, it can often max out many GPUs. I use an RTX 4080-based PC alongside a 4K, 240Hz monitor and often struggle to saturate the display in many mainstream titles. So, AOC’s Agon Pro might be useful for those who are willing to drop the resolution to 1440p to pump out more frames.

With G-Sync compatibility and a rapid 0.03ms GtG response time, this display is ideal for performance-conscious gamers. With a pair of 5W speakers and DisplayHDR 400, you can also lean on those for an even more immersive experience. In terms of connectivity, you also get two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 options, which makes it great for multi-device usage, though there is no KVM switch included here.

At under $400 at Amazon, it’s hard to argue with the value on offer here, and it offers an accessible entry point into the world of OLED monitors. So, if you have the graphics muscle to push that kind of frame rate in eSports titles, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better monitor at this price point.

LG's blistering 480Hz OLED is on sale for $350 off, matching its previous lowest price ever

OLED monitors have made some major strides over the past few years, but the fact that a 480Hz WOLED panel with a 1440p resolution already exists still shocks me. Even more shocking is the fact that you can buy it for just $650. That was unheard of even for a basic OLED panel a few years ago, and now it's the going price for LG's high-end model.

This is the 27GX790A-B, though I prefer to call out LG monitors by their specs for obvious reasons. This monitor sports one of LG's latest WOLED panels, which boasts MLA+, or micro lens array... plus. It supposedly helps boost brightness, with the monitor's claimed peak brightness reaching 1,300 nits.

Keep in mind that those highlights only show up in very small portions of the screen. Regardless, the 27GX790A-B topped the brightness charts in our 4.5 out of 5-star LG UltraGear OLED 27GX790A review. - Jake Roach

This 16-inch, 1200p IPS portable monitor is just $47.99

Look, I haven't heard of YPI before, so you probably haven't either. But the company is currently selling a 16-inch IPS monitor at Amazon for $47.99. And at that price, it's probably worth picking up if you don't already own one of the best accessories for productivity on the go. This is a 1920 x 1200 matte IPS panel with two USB-C ports and Mini HDMI in case you don't have a system that supports Thunderbolt or USB with DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Importantly, it also has a built-in kickstand and VESA screw mounts. It even has built-in speakers if you don't care about sound quality.

I own a different 16-inch portable monitor (from Veout), and I find the size a good fit for working on the go, as it's bigger than my 14-inch laptop screen. At 1.54 pounds, this model is travel-friendly (though you'll probably want to get a case to protect the screen), while a pair of screw holes means you can also mount it on a stand or arm for home use.

I paid over $70 for a similar 16-inch portable monitor around this time last year (which is now "on sale" for more than I paid for it) and have been very happy with it. At less than $50, there's really not much reason why most of us shouldn't own one of these portable monitors. Aside from being great for work on the go, they are good for projects, testing PCs without having to drag a bigger powered screen out, and even for impromptu console or retro gaming sessions. -- Matt Safford

Rated for up to 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, expect a faithful representation of whatever you're looking at, along with its 800R curve, HDR support, and a brightness of up to 275cd/m².

Sporting an additional WebOS layer is a neat trick for a monitor, and it may add a quality-of-life factor into using the display day-to-day, as it also possesses a USB-C PD port rated up to 65W. While it has a pair of 7W speakers, for full immersion you'll likely want something a bit beefier to pair with it. You can also expect an Ethernet connector, headphone jack, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a DisplayPort 1.4, to boot. Rocking such a deep discount at Best Buy, with $800 off, makes the panel almost half price. While it's definitely an unconventional monitor, it might be just the hybrid you're after. — Sayem Ahmed

A big bold OLED statement for your setup

We said the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP was a monitor "within sight of perfection" when we reviewed it last year. Its sibling, the PG32UCDM, is now on sale at Amazon for Black Friday at its lowest-ever price. This model on sale here is a QD-OLED panel with a glossy anti-reflective screen, as opposed to the matte finish of its W-OLED counterpart. While this one doesn't offer the 480Hz 1080p mode, it is still an absolute barnstormer and features 240Hz 4K.

You'll struggle to find an OLED monitor this good for this price on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter. I recently made the jump from LED to OLED and the difference is absolutely staggering. - Stephen Warwick

32 inches, 4K resolution, and 240 Hz: MSI MPG 321URX available with an extra $100 discount

No, you’re not seeing double. While we had an earlier deal on the MSI MAG 321UPX earlier today, the slightly more premium MPG 321URX is also on sale. It’s still a 32-inch 4K monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 4K QD-OLED panel, but it has slightly higher specs than its MAG counterpart. And with a $100 instant discount at B&H Photo, the MPG 321URX is also marginally cheaper at $829.99.

The MPG 321URX has a more premium build and fancier packaging than the MAG 321UPX, includes additional USB and DisplayPort cables in the box, and features RGB illumination for the MSI logo. Additionally, the MPG 321URX offers additional USB 2.0 ports and a USB-C port with 90-watt power delivery that aren’t available on its lesser sibling.

One thing to note, though, is that while the physical characteristics of the monitors may differ, they both use the same QD-OLED panel, so image quality should be similar, if not identical. — Brandon Hill

You don't need to spend loads of cash to get a solid gaming monitor, especially as many productivity monitors now have faster refresh rates, too. Get the coveted Alienware AW3423DWF for $500 as it drops to its lowest price ever

The Alienware 34 QD-OLED, across both the G-Sync AW3423DW and FreeSync AW3423DWF, is a modern gaming monitor legend. It introduced QD-OLED to the world of gaming monitors, and it's consistently dropped in price since its release. Now, once again, it's down to its lowest price ever at a gobsmacking $499.99.

It's a 34-inch ultrawide that tops out at 165Hz, and although more recent QD-OLED panels have pushed to far higher refresh rates, 165Hz is still very high. It earned high marks in our Alienware AW2423DWF review when it launched in late 2022, mainly for its stellar color and brightness performance.

This is a great monitor at a great price, and it's likely the lowest we'll see it go; Dell has it marked with a "clearance" tag for its Cyber Monday sale. Still, it has some issues that were indicative of earlier QD-OLED panels. Notably, there's subtle text fringing on the desktop, so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, it's worth spending up for a newer QD-OLED panel. - Jake Roach

We don't hand out perfect scores often here at Tom's Hardware, but that's exactly what Asus' XG27ACDNG earned when we reviewed it earlier this year. It's a 27-inch QD-OLED display with a 1440p (QHD) resolution and blistering 360Hz refresh rate, and it comes with certifications for FreeSync Premium Pro, G-Sync Compatible, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

Our reviewer Christian Eberle wrote in his review, "The XG27ACDNG is pretty much flawless for gaming, video and productivity. 27-inch flat panels are an ideal size for footprint, pixel density and price. Having one monitor on your desk, especially one as large as 32 inches, can take up a lot of desk space. As a purveyor of monitors I find this to be a frankly astonishing deal. Right now at Best Buy you can get a 4K 43-inch mini-LED monitor from Samsung for $499, a massive $500. This Neo G7 is a little older these days but still offers 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response times, and more.

Get a QD-OLED for record-low pricing as MSI drops the MAG 271QPX to just $410

Prices on QD-OLED monitors are tumbling, and MSI is pushing them down to new lows. The MAG 271QPX is on sale for just $409.99, shaving a solid 41% ($290) off the list price of $699.99. It's by far the best deal I've seen on an OLED monitor all of Cyber Monday, and just about every model available is on sale for a good price.

This is a 27-inch display with a 1440p resolution and 240Hz refresh rate, and if you're in-touch with monitors, you might be able to spot that it's a second-gen QD-OLED panel. We've taken a look at the MPG 271QRX, which is a version of this monitor with a more recent 360Hz QD-OLED panel, but even the older panel offerings come with exceptional highlights and some of the best color performance money can buy.

The main drawback with an older QD-OLED panel is text fringing. On fine details, you can spot a bit of fringing on the screen. I've never had an issue with it, even after testing dozens of early QD-OLED panels, but some folks are sensitive to it.

Outside of the panel, the MAG 271QPX comes with the full assortment of bells and whistles you'd expect out of high-end monitor. That includes HDMI 2.1 for console support, a USB-C connection, and MSI's extensive OLED Care 2.0 toolkit. - Jake Roach

Upgrade to a 21:9 monitor for only $210 as the Acer Nitro ED340CUR hits its lowest price ever

Even with bigger, faster, and more vibrant ultrawide monitors, you don’t normally see a basic 21:9 monitor drop below $300. The Acer Nitro ED340CUR is the exception. It’s on sale for half-off for Cyber Monday at Best Buy, dropping its $419.99 list price down to just $209.99.

That’s an excellent price. Just a few months ago, our friends over at Tom’s Guide highlighted the ED340CUR when it dropped to $300, and now you can get it for $90 less. It’s a typical 34-inch ultrawide, with a 3440 x 1440 resolution (WQHD) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Acer claims a 1ms GtG response time, which is likely with the VA panel, but you could run into black smearing if you overclock the monitor too far.

Outside of the panel specs, the monitor comes with a subtle 1500R curve, which works well with a 34-inch ultrawide, and it’s certified with AMD FreeSync Premium for variable refresh rate with Intel, AMD, and Nvidia GPUs. - Jake Roach

We've already talked about how a modern GPU can be an attractive upgrade for systems with five-year-old or even older CPUs inside. But if you're still rocking an older, lower-resolution monitor, it might be time to make the jump to 4K.

Higher-resolution monitors are much less of an obstacle to high frame rates than they used to be, thanks to the advent of upscaling and framegen technologies. To take full advantage of the performance and image quality improvements those tools offer, though, you really want a 4K monitor for reasons we discussed in a brief investigation this week.

That brings us to Asus' ROG Strix XG27UCS. This bright, crisp, and colorful 4K 160Hz display is on sale for $299 at Amazon . This is the monitor I personally use on the Tom's Hardware graphics test bench, and I bought it with my own money last year when it was $70 more expensive. I thought it was a good deal then, and it's an even better deal now.

The XG27UCS offers 95% DCI-P3 coverage for highly saturated colors in games, as well as a 400 cd/m2 max SDR brightness that's practically retina-searing at 100%. It also has Asus' variable overdrive tech, which matches the amount of overdrive applied in response to the variable refresh rate for the crispest motion throughout its 48-160Hz VRR range. You can even turn on Extreme Low Motion Blur black-frame insertion in tandem with VRR for potentially even crisper motion.

The XG27UCS also offers USB-C input support via DisplayPort Alt Mode and 15W charging if you need to dock a laptop in a pinch, and its stand has a handy tripod socket on top so that you can install streaming gear securely. It embodies the "everything you need, nothing you don't" ethos well, and I have zero complaints with it after many hours of use. (Well, just one: it's not an OLED. But we make do.) Stop the presses! The cheapest, best value gaming monitor we've seen today, at least from a brand you'd recognize, has just popped up on Amazon. We've already mentioned the 27-inch curved variant of this Asus TUF Gaming VG249QE5A gaming monitor, but there's also a heck of a deal on its 24-inch flat sibling, with Amazon slashing the price to just $79.99, a new record low for this model.

What are you getting for that price? A pretty laudable set of specs. This is a 1080p display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which will be a noticeable step up if you've been stuck with an old 60Hz office monitor. 1080p continues to be the most common option for gaming, too, according to recent Steam Hardware surveys, so you'll be in the majority if you decide to game on this thing.

That 144Hz refresh rate, which you can overclock to 146Hz for some reason, isn't groundbreaking, but it will help you smooth out any rapid motions in fast-paced games you might play. I recently made the switch from a plain old LED monitor to this fantastic OLED from Samsung. I bought the 32-inch version of the G81SF, and I honestly can't believe how good the image quality and color are. It has transformed gaming on both my PC and my Xbox Series X, and the build quality really shines. Right now in the U.S. at Amazon, the smaller model is $834.99, and the larger model is $949.99. That's the lowest price ever on either model at Amazon, and prices that match both Best Buy and Newegg.

Headline specs for the G81SF include 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync support, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort connectivity, and a USB port. This Gigabyte 27-inch 180Hz IPS display could be great as a cheap gaming monitor or secondary screen

Right, okay. It can’t be OLEDs all the time. But, if you’re already kitted out with an OLED, or if you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful display to get you through the ongoing DRAM pricing apocalypse to salve your wounds, Gigabyte has you covered. If you’re looking for a panel that exceeds 144Hz and has a host of gaming features without breaking the bank, this might be the deal you’re searching for.

The Gigabyte GS27QA is a 27-inch, 180Hz IPS panel with a 1ms MPRT response time. Now, it’s almost half price, at just $145.99 on Amazon, which is just two dollars off its lowest-ever price.

The GS27QA supports AMD FreeSync, features a decent-enough 1440p panel, and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, so it should reproduce images well. The screen also supports HDR10, if you’re willing to put up with the arduous task of managing your HDR settings in Windows. Expect to find a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports, an earphone jack, and DisplayPort 1.4.

Otherwise, the display is fairly humble. It’s not got the greatest panel technology, nor the fastest speeds. But, if you mainly use your PC or display for productivity or playing slower-paced single-player titles, then why break the bank for something super fancy? That’s where Gigabyte’s GS27QA comes in. Specs-wise, this Seagate Expansion drive means you'll be getting a traditional 3.5" hard drive, which is wrapped in its own plastic enclosure. It connects to your PC or laptop using a USB 3.0 cable, although it is externally powered, so you'll need to have a spare outlet nearby. This drive also comes with Seagate's Rescue Data Recovery service thrown in, giving you access to in-lab support to try and retrieve your files if the drive ever stops working.

External drives like this one aren't affected by soaring NAND flash prices, so unlike SSDs, they aren't seeing huge price rises. Not only does it make sense financially to invest in a drive like this, but it's also a good option if you're not looking for the extremely fast transfer speeds offered by SSD alternatives, especially if you're looking for a convenient backup solution that doesn't mean investing in a much bigger (and more expensive) NAS setup.

This 26TB Seagate Expansion HDD is protected by a rugged black plastic case, which measures 7 x 2 x 5 inches, and is protected by small rubber feet on the bottom. Some of these HDD enclosures do have Exos drives inside, but it is a bit of a minefield to figure out what you might get, so you'll need to research what drive you might get if this is your aim.

Black Friday PC Fan Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Before we get into it, there are some important things to consider before buying fans, and we’ve put them in a bulleted list below.

Size matters - What size fans do you need? Today’s cases typically fit 120 or 140mm fans, with some using large 200mm (typically for the front). Most fans are 25mm thick, but thicker (for higher static pressure) and thinner (for small-form-factor applications) models are available. Just make sure you have enough clearance from surrounding hardware, especially if you’re upgrading fans on an AIO or Air Cooler.

Airflow and static pressure - The more airflow, the better your chance of removing heat from whatever the fan is attached to. If you’re attached to a CPU heatsink or AIO radiator, chances are you want a device with high static pressure to push (or pull) through the radiator. The higher the static pressure, the greater the force required to overcome the restriction, while a higher CFM value means more air volume. In other words, for case fans, you don’t care as much about static pressure (unless your intake/exhaust is restrictive). Still, when replacing radiator fans for an AIO or CPU heatsink, static pressure should be a consideration.

Reverse or not to reverse - Recently, we’ve seen many ‘reverse’ fans on the market. In the past, you’d have to flip a fan around to expose the rear (read: ugly) part of the hub. Many vendors introduced reverse fans that blow ‘in’ while still showing off the intended part of the hub. In short, they are purpose-built to look better than the ‘standard’ fans flipped around. Get the right fan for the job.

PWM or DC? - You have two choices when it comes to how the fan connects to your system. A DC-controlled fan (three pins) changes the voltage to lower fan RPM, while PWM fans control speed by rapidly switching power on and off. The good news is that motherboards support both methods, so this isn’t as big a concern as it was several years ago, but still something to be aware of.

There’s more to it than what is listed above (to RGB or not to RGB, noise levels, etc.), but understanding what these things are is more than half the battle, while the rest are mostly preferences. Below are some of the best Black Friday deals we found online for 120mm and 140mm case fans.

Arctic's Liquid Freezer III might be the top dog when it comes to pure cooling performance, but that's a no-frills, no-fuss cooler. This FW360 is not only cheaper thanks to this deal, but it comes with vibrant RGB lighting for its fans, and a 2.88-inch LCD display to really liven up your build.

While we haven't tested this specific cooler, Thermalright's gear always scores well in our benchmarks. With a spec sheet boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, OLED panel, and 0.03ms GtG response times, there is plenty to write home about with this model, a frankly smashing deal that scores you a huge amount of display for less than 700 quid.

Of course, Black Friday was technically yesterday, but there are still deals aplenty including new savings. Notably, this monitor got its price drop on November 29, so sometimes it pays to wait around.

This is a massive monitor that falls into the "buy it and never think about it ever again" category. Unless you want 4K, this monitor would, in theory, solve all your display real estate needs for years to come. The resolution means you are effectively running two 1440p monitors side-by-side, making it perfect for both high productivity and ultra-immersive gaming.

With NAND flash prices soaring, it's no surprise that we've not exactly been flush with huge discounts on SSDs during this Black Friday sale season. Luckily, Amazon has come to the rescue with arguably the best-priced SSD on sale in the UK right now, slashing the price of this Crucial P310 with 1TB of storage to less than £60.

That's as good as it gets, and probably will get, for some time if you're looking for a 1TB SSD with Gen 4 speeds or better. Costing just £59.99, the Crucial P310 isn't quite back down to record low levels, but it has climbed right back down to a price level we haven't seen for several weeks, according to Camelcamelcamel's data.

In our Crucial P310 review, we saw that the Crucial P310 offered decent, all-round performance, but it wasn't especially great value at its RRP. Slipping under £60 changes the equation, however, making this a drive that would make for a worthy addition to a PC.

A lot of that is down to those read and write speeds. With sequential read and write speeds of 7,100 MB/s and 6,000 MB/s, the Crucial P310 isn't the fastest Gen 4 SSD you can buy, but it is significantly faster than older Gen 3 drives. Compare and contrast, for instance, against the fastest PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, the Samsung 990 Pro, which has read and write speeds of 7,450 MB/s and 6,900 MB/s, but costs almost twice as much at UK retailers right now.

The Crucial P310 uses the Phison E27T controller along with Micron’s 232-layer QLC NAND. Our benchmark tests showed that it sat comfortably in the middle of the pack, managing to beat even faster drives like the WD Black SN850X. This would be a good daily driver for your operating system, or you could use it as a spare backup drive for important files, or even as your go-to drive for your game collection, thanks to its impressive responsiveness and speed.

There's a five-year limited warranty thrown in with the P310, which does offer some peace of mind. There simply isn't a better-priced SSD available to UK buyers right now, and with prices soaring across the board, it's a pretty big outlier. Of course, if you need an even faster drive, Crucial's P510 1TB SSD with Gen 5 speeds is down to a record low £79.99 at Amazon, too.

Whichever drive you choose to buy, you'd better make it fast. SSD prices are getting higher across the board, and these are likely Black Friday-inspired outliers that might not last into next week. If you need to upgrade, this £59.99 1TB Crucial P310 is an especially great option on a budget, but it won't stay this price for long.

Western Digital's WD Red Pro 24TB hard drive (with the model name WD241KFGX) is based on the company's latest 11-platter helium-sealed platform, featuring a 7,200 RPM spindle speed and OptiNAND technology.

This is an enterprise-grade NAS drive, so high performance and longevity are its focus. We’ve seen OLED panels quickly spread throughout the gaming monitor space, and they’ve even made serious inroads in laptops. Given that many portable monitors often use the same panels found in notebooks, we’re starting to see more OLEDs crop up in this space as well. Innocn is a maker of value-priced portable monitors, and we’ve reviewed several of their products over the years, including the excellent 13K1F. At this time, the monitor has a retail price of $129.99 but is currently on sale at Amazon for $94.99 during Black Friday.

The 13K1F features a 13.3-inch OLED panel with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Like most portable monitors, it has a 60 Hz refresh rate, and it’s rated at a maximum brightness of 400 nits (though our review unit didn’t reach that level). Thanks to its OLED panel, the 13K1F boasts a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and it features a glossy screen coating that gives colors an extra bit of “pop” under ideal lighting conditions. The monitor also features two USB-C ports, a mini-HDMI port, and built-in speakers.

Despite its sub-$100 price tag, the 13K1F features a sleek and sturdy aluminum-alloy chassis and weighs just 1.39 pounds. Add that lightweight frame with its trim 13.3-inch form-factor, and it’s easily transportable in a laptop bag. While you don’t get an integrated kickstand (which helps to keep the device thinner overall), it does come with a magnetic kickstand that attaches to the back. It’s adjustable and includes rubber feet to keep the 13K1F plant on a flat surface.

As for performance, the 13K1F excelled in our color tests, producing well-saturated colors. Even though the 264.8 nits we measured for panel brightness didn’t match the manufacturer's 400-nit claim, it still outpaced all other competitors.

When we first tested the 13K1F back in 2022, it was priced at just under $200. Now priced at less than half that amount, the 13K1F is an even better bargain for mobile warriors who want a “punchy” secondary display to boost productivity.
