I have an asus p48gx deluxe motherboard and used asus' ez flash application to update my bios, however, the update failed. Now I can not boot my computer up anymore. I already created a boot disk and copied the necessary files onto it but my system does not acknowledge the floppy disk either.
What is left for me to do and how can I get my system up and running again?
Thanks for all the help!

Read the info at the following link:

http://bios-repair.co.uk/bios/bsrecover.htm

Some good info there.
If the floppy doesn't work try creating a bootable cd with the flashutility and bios rom file for your board. See if it will accept that. If all else fails you could take it to a repair shop to get the chip flashed i think, not sure about that though. Good luck.

the best solution is to contact the mobo maker and get a new CMOS bios chip to replace the "now bad" bios chip. this may require waiting a few days but it is the best solution.

That's exactly what I am going to do. I already sent them an email and I have only to pay for the S+H, the chip is free.

Thanks for your help and advice all :)
