Hello, Noob having problems with my PC rebooting since restarting to finish the installation of the latest Windows Update. Loads only to the Dell BIOS screen and then reboots again. I can hit F2 or F12, but not sure what to do when I do. I thought that running in Safe Mode and uninstalling the last update would be the way to go, but not sure how to get into Safe Mode.

Any suggestion? They would be appreciated!

Hit f8 as the system loads. you get the options for safe mode. If safe mode won't boot reboot and f8 select the don't auto reboot. You will get a blue screen. At the botom is an error code. Search that code and the source of your problem will be a bit easier to diagnose

I got Safe Mode to work and just did a system restore. Everything seems to be working okay now. I appreciate the info! You're a life saver!

I'm having the same problem only that it will only allow me to hit F2 & F12. I have tried hitting F8 but to no success :s. Any suggestions?
By the way I have a dual OS... Windows 7 and Ubuntu...

Thanks
