Hi All,

I am complete novice in terms computer components. I am planning to get a graphics card for a 3 monitor display setup. I am trader by profession. Please help me choose one. Lets me tell you what i have

1. CPU : AMD phenom II X4 840

2. Existing graphics card : ati radeon hd 5400 series ( 1DVI + 1 HDMI + 1 VGA )

3. mainboard : gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2p ( 1 DVI + 1 VGA )

4. ram : 8 gb

5. os : windows 7

6. monitors : 2 x Dell S2240 L ( hdmi+ vga) , 1 x Dell ST2220M ( DVI+vga)

7. Cables : 1 x HDMI cable , 1 x DVI cable , 1 x long VGA cable

Right now i can connect 2 monitors with my graphics card ( 1 dvi+ 1 HDMi ). But i felt graphics has become very slow when i use two monitors with my existing card. And if i connect my 3rd monitor to the vga port it does not work at all.

Now feel that i need to replace my existing graphics card to get a smooth performance ( and easy my eyes too as i sit 12-15 hours a day in front of computers screens with fast updating stock prices , charts) .

Following thing i am ready to purchase

# a new graphics card with at least 3 monitor support
# addition cables / adaptor if required

Max budget : $ 100 - 165

Please suggest me a graphics card which i can buy in India ( preferably online i.e. flipkart.com etc. ). If i get it from Amazon.com it will be too late to be delivered in India .

Thanks for your prompt reply. But i feel that if i use my monitors at 1920 x 1080 resolutions settings screen transitions becomes slow. I mean to say if i move some open window a bit faster then movements are not at all smooth. Even i maximise and minimise the windows in quick successions then its not at all smooth.

so i feel that my existing card is not even capable of driving two monitors at 1920 x 1080 resolutions which is essential for me. As its a trading setup screen updations should be quite fast and smooth.

Could you please suggest me accordingly. I am ready to replace my existing card if required to get a good performance card under my budget of $160.
