Re-installing Windows 10 on new SSD

Hey there!

So I believe I have a broken hard drive, I have had lots of different problems all coming from the hard drive, I dont know what one it is though, because.. Im not a PC genius! Thats why im here!
So Im planning to get a 250gb or 500gb SDD to replace it, but not sure how to re-install windows on it? Do I just slap it in and it installs, or do I have to go through steps like copying windows from the old hard drive?

download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB
change boot order in PC so USB is first, SSD is second
boot from installer and follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

when you reach stage of install asking for licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 will auto activate on install

note: remove old hdd before doing this, only have ssd in PC when installing
