Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang thinks that American companies should be allowed to use Chinese AI models, even as Washington is trying to ban them. When Axios co-founder Mike Allen asked Huang in an interview if Americans companies should be allowed to use Chinese AI models, Huang responded with “absolutely.” The answer comes right after Chinese firm Moonshot AI released a 2.8T open-weight model called Kimi K3, which — although it isn’t as powerful as frontier models like Fable 5 — is comparable to GPT 5.5 and Claude Opus 4.8 while costing just a third of these models.

You what else US companies should be allowed to? Buy non-USA vehicles as well, like Chinese and European ones on even footing (reference to the Chicken Tax).

There's plenty other things US companies and regular people should be allowed to, but they aren't.

You should grease the orange cogs with a bit more shekels*.

    Regards.

I can't remember the last time Jensen was active in the gaming realm.

But if its AI? The guy is always there; got something to say or got something to do. Why is that?

He's right this time. We're seeing fearmongering to support bans in order to protect expensive incumbents.

And if they "stole" from frontier models using distillation attacks, tough.

He needs a brand new leather jacket every day so he can throw away the previous day's jacket. Selling 5060s doesn't bring home the bacon.
