MSI has already released its HD 7790 card, but now it is bringing a model with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory to the shelves (the standard HD 7790 design features only 1 GB).
The HD 7790 2 GB OC, otherwise known as the R7790-2GD5/OC, features a custom PCB and cooler. This cooler is made of an array of aluminum fins, as well as two copper heat pipes, and air is pushed through by a 100 mm fan.
The card will have a clock speed of 1050 MHz, and the 2 GB of memory will run at an effective speed of 6 GHz, through a 128-bit memory interface. The card's connectivity is handled by an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, and two DVI ports. It is powered by just one 6-pin PCIe power connector.
So far, there has been no word on pricing or availability.
