Asus Launches ROG Assassin's Creed IV Hardware Bundles

Asus says that it has teamed up with Ubisoft to bundle Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on PC with new ROG Rampage IV Black Edition motherboards, Tytan G30 gaming PCs and G750 gaming laptops, which are available now. Starting October 28, 2013, the company will also bundle the Assassin's Creed game with Asus GeForce GTX Titan, GTX 780 and GTX 770 DirectCU II graphics cards.

"Asus ROG Rampage IV Black Edition is an X79 chipset-based motherboard packed with the best of ROG technologies that make it the must-have option for demanding gamers and extreme overclockers to unleash the full performance of LGA2011 Intel Core i7 (Ivy Bridge-E) processors, up to 64 GB of DRAM (at up to 2800 MHz overclocked in all eight DIMM sockets) and multiple graphics cards (multi-GPU)," reads the company press release.

The ROG Tytan G30 Series features up to an Intel Core i7-4770K processor, packed with a one-click Turbo Gear that instantly overclocks all four cores to a maximum speed of 4.1 GHz. Although the GPU isn't listed on the specs, Asus says this gaming rig features up to the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 graphics card, and Asus SonicMaster technology with the AudioWizard sound-tuning utility for optimized audio. Asus ROG Tytan G50, G70 and CG8890 will also include the game, along with G10, M51 and M70 desktop PCs.

Asus says the ROG G750 is "buzzing" with the newest and very best processor and graphics technologies, including up to a fourth generation Intel Core i7 "Haswell" processor and a dedicated Nvidia GPU. This laptop uses a dual-exhaust system that cools the laptop through the rear of the machine to keep both noise and heat away from the gamer. This laptop is also fitted with a gaming-focused backlit keyboard, a dedicated numeric pad and isolated directional keys.

"Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the newest installment of the stealthy adventure title and its release has been awaited eagerly by gamers worldwide -- and Asus ROG will be Ubisoft's recommended hardware brand partner for the PC launch," reads the company press release. "Asus ROG is also the recommended gaming gear for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag."

As previously stated, the motherboard, desktop and laptop bundles are available now, whereas the bundled stand-alone graphics cards will be sold starting October 28.

Is the Rampage IV Black really available now? What's the price? Where it can be found? I looked on newegg and amazon but couldn't find it there.

I wish they'd bundle games with their higher end routers. Though I guess it wouldn't make as much sense.

I think they should bundle games with the mid-range products instead, since the majority of people who would be buying a mid-range product will be more interested in the game anyway.

But aaron, you could see this as price cutting on the high end models. I just wish I'd gotten Assassin's for free too, since about a month ago I got myself a 770 from asus.
