Nvidia and AMD Release New Beta Graphics Drivers

Both AMD and Nvidia have released new graphics drivers, with AMD releasing a Beta2 driver and Nvidia releasing a Beta driver.

The release notes below apply to the 13.10 Beta2 driver from AMD:

  • AMD Catalyst 13.10 Beta2 includes all of the features/fixes found in AMD Catalyst 13.10 Beta
  • Includes a 32-bit single GPU, and an AMD Crossfire game profile for Battlefield 4
  • Total War: Rome 2 AMD CrossFire profile update
  • AMD CrossFire frame pacing improvements for CPU-bound applications
  • Resolves image corruption seen in Autodesk Inventor 2014
  • Resolves intermittent black screen when resuming from an S3/S4 sleep-state if the display is unplugged during the sleep-state on systems supporting AMD Enduro technology
  • Updated AMD Enduro technology application profiles for AMD Radeon HD notebook users

  • Splinter Cell Blacklist
  • FIFA 14

The Nvidia driver has a couple more new features. The driver is called a 'must' for owners of Nvidia graphics cards who will be playing the Battlefield 4 Beta. The driver also comes with the new HBAO+, which makes part of the Ambient Occlusion feature. This should make the ambient occlusion noticeably higher in quality.   • FIFA 14 – Added SLI Profile, Added AO Profile, Added 3D Vision Profile (Rated "Good") 
  • Natural Selection 2 – Added DX11 SLI Profile 
  • Outlast – Added DX9 SLI Profile Space 
  • Hulk – Updated Profile 
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist – Updated SLI Profile 
  • State of Decay – Added DX9 SLI Profile 
  • Urban Trial Freestyle - Added 3D Vision Profile (Rated "Good") 
  • Watch Dogs – Added DX11 SLI Profile

    Wow! I'm impressed with AMD's latest beta thus far. Far Cry 3 almost fully maxed 60+ fps without all the crap I was experiencing with their last beta with my OC'd 7950

    they need to their mobility 13.9 drivers gives me black screens yet 12.4 or 13.10 doesn't. a lot of people are having issues with their 13.9 mobility drivers.

    This could solve my issues I had last night trying to play BF4, it was it was jumping from smooth to laggy as hell, you would think a 680 gtx would make that game play crystal smooth. Downloading now, will try again tonight, see if I can actually shoot some one instead of being owned.

    I would be excited but with all of EA's bending over backwards to screw us over the last year I'm boycotting BF4 and any other upcoming EA releases.
