The uniformity was average, with the lower part of the panel showing about the same difference in lighting as the upper. With extreme brightness settings, we did notice halos of light in the corners of the panel, however. So you'll have to stay within reasonable limits in setting the brightness. That's not a problem in itself, since we already found the brightness of this panel to be excessive.
A Good 12 Ms
The LG/Philips panels are slower than the 8 ms ones from Samsung, but the viewing angles are wider. That's another aspect of the performance/comfort compromise.
As you can see, it was a little less impressive than the Samsung. The maximum latency reached 29 ms and leveled off longer than on an 8 ms panel. But this is still a panel you can play games with.
