P4 Northwood and Prescott Comparison at 4.1 GHz

Test Motherboard: DFI LanParty 875PRO Rev. B

For this project we had to be able to rely on a motherboard that offered FSB clock rates of more than 250 MHz. While Asus' boards served our testing purposes very well during the past few years, others are close and sometimes equally good, which is the case with DFI's mobo. The board comes with excellent features, good overclocking capabilities and additional LAN party accessories, such as a shoulder strap with which to carry it.

The voltage converters are kept at a steady temperature in Revision B of the LANParty board with massive cooling elements, which underscores the Pentium 4 Prescott's low power consumption specs.
