In light of Sony's heavily-rumored decision to pivot away from PC releases, one security engineer took matters into his own hands and turned the PS5 into a PC. Andy Nguyen ported Linux to a PlayStation 5 console, hacking through several layers of hardware and software barriers thanks to full-chain exploits. Not only did he manage to get Linux running, but the modded console actually performs well in games.

Too bad you need some old firmware PS5, this would a good replacement for the 6700K/980ti pc I hooked up to the tv so the kids can play some games

If someone works out a way to downgrade firmware or expands on newer firmwares.. maybe not a bad way to save money on having a pc level system capable of playing AAA games.
Also, being able to have steam and xbox gamepass.. basically causing the gaming market to crash as all games will be playable on all systems (with development for support) .

I'd say that's..... GAME OVER.. QUEUE CSI MIAMI AVIATORS SLIDE ON AND DEATH SCREAM.
