My os is windows 8.1. I am trying to use the operating sys. without signing in with a password. Does anyone know how this can be accomplished?

I to would like to know as since the day I bought the laptop it forced me to use a password and I hate that.

Open your command prompt and type "netplwiz" (no quotes) - in the dialogue box that comes up, uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Restart the computer, you should be greeted by windows

You can have it auto sign in. Or you can create a local account with no password.

I know I am using a ms account when I sign in. How do you set it up for auto sign in?
