My problem started when I bought a new motherboard - Gigabyte 78lmt-s2pt with an AMD processor.
I faced lots of hard drive issues like disk read error, disk boot failure, no disk found etc.
So I decided to change my WD 320gb Blue with a Seagate barracuda 1tb. After one month I reinstalled windows and the install was noticeably laggy. So I changed the disk and tried with a USB but with no luck. So I settled with a laggy install and it has been 12 hours since I installed windows and it works for sometime but then it bluescreens and shows me that I have a disk boot error.
I ran Memtest 86 which passes.
I also tried se-tools which for some reason wouldn't open my desktop.
Since my mobo cpu ram HDD are all new and the fact that I have reinstalled both Windows 7 and 8 multiple times, I think it is a hardware issue.
Any help is appreciated

AMD x2 dual core
Gigabyte 78lmt-s2pt

Seagate 1 TB HDD

How is your drivers when you fresh install Windows, are these latest drivers? How about use another SATA cable and plug it to another SATA port..

You may need to monitor your cpu temp as well, when system is on (CoreTemp/RealTemp).. It could be overheating..

Drivers are up to date (were upto date with Windows 7 too)

Have tried all 5 Sata ports

Core temp revealed cpu was at a comfy 35 at medium load topping out at 51 whenever I was able to do some light gaming.
Trust me guys I have knocked down all the usual suspects and have been facing this problem for months now.
Thanks for the help till now :)
