Have Seagate 3TB HDD running with Windows 8.1 with no problems ( 2TB/746GB) Upgraded to Windows 10 the 746GB disappeared. (Seagate provided software to run in the above configuration for my Windows 8) I backed off Windows 10 because of this and another software issue. Do you think re-installing the Seagate software under Windows 10 will get the 746GB available again?

I'm a newbie to 10 atm, but could it be possible that the drive is being defaulted to MBR and needs to be GPT being the drive is over 2tb?
I'm also a little confused about the 2tb/746gb, is it a single 3tb internal hd, or an external containing 2x1.5tb? Just seems a little odd to be, but not really used Seagate myself.

Not sure what bells and whistles would be on offer with the seagate wares, but typically vender shipped toys are tools and utilities.

Unless you mean a driver? In which case, it probably would be worth using it. I still have to use WD SES under 10 as I did in 7.
