EVGA GTX 960 4GB FTW vs EVGA GTX 960 4GB SSC Need Help

Hi everyone, I'm just new here.

I'm planning to get one of this cards (EVGA GTX 960 4GB FTW vs EVGA GTX 960 4GB SSC) the models are these (04G-P4-3969-KR vs 04G-P4-3967-KR) but i want to know if the ftw works the 20$ i can avoid if i buy the SSC , Do it really works 20$ more or should i save money for other stuff.

Im actually in build of my new pc and if i can save 20$ for other stuff it will help me hope you guys can help me im not english speaker so dont destroy me because any words i had write wrong thanks for your help ..

I wouldn't pay anywhere near $200 for a GTX960.

This is a lot better for less

The 04G-P4-3969 has the higher core clock out-of-the-box: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3969-KR
As a result it may OC better being a higher binned chip. That is about the only performance difference I can see. I have the 3969 in another machine. It actually came clocked at 1480 MHz instead of 1304 MHz. Maybe I just got lucky, tho.

Either way the 380 is superior. I would not pay over $180 for a 960.

It doesn't make much difference. I like Sapphire the best, but wouldn't pay extra for it. XFX, MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus cards are just fine too.

I guess it all depends on how much $20 is actually worth to you. If you are on a tight budget and still need more stuff, dropping back to the 3967 won't make that much difference in real life. It's more important that you put the extra money into the PSU than the card.

at last i just bought the SSC with the tax i only save $5 from the $230 i was thinking to spend on it thanks for your help
