I have been trying to clone Samsung SSD830 to SM863 both 240GB size using this dock duplicator
https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-SATA-Hard-Drive-Duplicator/dp/B003WV5DLA/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_pdt_img_top?ie=UTF8

but it failed, it would not even lit up led for SSD830. Both disks are readable and recognized by computer just fine. What should I look into? Look into software cloning? I am looking for quickieest and easiest method to clone since I have to do it for many servers in my company where each uses 2 SSD 240 GB drives for caching pass-through upload data.

So, here's what I would do:

Set up a specific SSD Swap PC.
Install the above linked software.
Take a server offline
Remove the drives
Plug them into the SwapBox
Run the clone thing
Put the relevant drive back in the server
Power up
Repeat for...

We are swapping them. The old are near their lifecycle, over 400TB have passed. We already experienced failure for one of the servers because these desktop models not designed for enterprise heavy use applications. They are using Supermicro servers that do have hot swappable SSD slots, I have to take down servers offline, remove cover to access the bracket that holds ssds. Each server has 2, for two different contents. Using dock cloner would be quickest and simplest to accomplish that.

Apparently that dock clone thing you have isn't working.
