My pc just exploded?!

Hey, my PC just exploded, I was playing csgo when my PC fell out then I saw sparks in my PC after that there came some smoke out of it. Then I opened it after letting it cool down, and I saw no damage? I think it was the psu? But I bought a 1100 watt 80+ gold efficiency. What happend and how can I fix it?
My pc specs:

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos S
Cpu: Intel Skylake I7 6700K OC ~ 4.4 Ghz
Gpu: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Ram: 16 GB 2400 Mhz
Mobo: Asus Z170
HDD: 1 TB 7200 RPM hdd
SDD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

Is your computer plugged directly into the wall outlet, or a surge protector?

Your system only needs a good quality 600W PSU at most.
If you can get Seasonic or XFX those are your best choices, in a gold or bronze efficiency rating.
EVGA and Corsair, only get them if they have a gold rating.
Antec has good Gold Rated ones as well.
It gets more complicated after that, as not all PSUs are made the same, and lots of brands are complete garbage, and the other lots of brands are hit and miss as to whether they're any good or not.

Which 1100W Gold?

When you get into that territory, they're normally quality units - but it's not unheard of for a PSU to have passed QC and been faulty in some way.

How is the power in your area? Any surges/spikes/outages recently? It may be that your PSU has protected you from numerous events, and finally hit it's limit.

At the very least, I'd replace the PSU - don't even try to turn it on with it at this point (hopefully that's obvious, but better safe than sorry!)

It's imposible to known from your description what happended, probably is the PSU as you told but who knows?

First you could known if the ols PSU work, unpulg it and shot circuit the power pins to known if it turns on.
If not, then If you could grab a PSU and test if the failure have affected any other system on the PC.

My psu: Strike 1100W 80 plus gold
I live in Holland we have no power shortages and I was just playing csgo when it the screen turned black and my PC fell out the it started again by itself and then I saw sparks in the case then came the disgusting smoke and I see no damage

What does it mean when you say that your "PC fell out"? Did it fall out the window? Or out of the room? Or did you drop it?

Most likely it's PSU failure, get yourself a new PSU, i recommend Corsair, and stick it in and hopefully you should be good to go as long as the explosion has not effected other components :)

Very unlikely the PSU will still work. If you saw no damage to other components, then most likely something inside the PSU shorted out. For safety's sake, don't try to open up the PSU to inspect it. The capacitors can still hold high voltage long after it has been unplugged. Maybe try to look inside through any ventilation spaces with a flashlight.

Mjlakeridge I opened the case and I saw not damage it looks completely fine?! I build the PC myself so I'm not a newbie. But I already had it before but then I had a completely different PC and my power supply also exploded that's why I bought extreme psu. Why happens this again I don't have the money to buy a new one... :(

I would take everything out of the case, disconnect everything, cpu cooler, cpu, gpu, ram, motherboard and carefully inspect both sides of everything for any signs of burning. If you saw sparks and smoke, then something burned up. It is not just like "well it happened once, maybe it won't happen again". Once you take the PSU out of the case, take it to a different room and see if there is any remaining smell of something burned inside of the PSU. Once it is out of the case, you may be able to see inside of it better.
