Over clockable Ryzen 1600 vs stock Ryzen 2600

Both are around the same cost. So what should I go for? usage : gaming, machine learning algorithms, programming, 3d modelling and rendering

I'd recommend purchasing the Ryzen 2600, you may be able to overclock the 1600 to out-perform the 2600 but you need to take into account Overclocking can be tedious and places significantly more stress on the CPU. For this reason I'd just go with the standard Ryzen 2600, you're getting good performance for the price.
