Soo i have this PCIEx1 to PCI adapter

Hello,
Im having a bit issue with setting up my Audigy SB0570 with Windows 7 64Bit, as i install everything and prompts me to restart i can hear windows startup sound but after it gets on desktop it just cuts off the sound.
I have tested with my test rig and it worked fine after restart.

Its a bit odd that I have wasted 30$ on that...
I have tried changing USB 3.0 Cable, and PCIEx1 to USB 3.0 adapter, still no shot.

It really bothers me as I've got 5.1 setup and ready to go...

Just to note: I've managed to get it running once, but after i touched to lower the sound it just cutted off, I've followed old thread on Creative's forum and from that on i couldn't get it working again, but after i removed it from my case and plugged it in outside it worked fine , which is completley odd to me, after putting back in case (with insulation soo i dont short it out) on bottom and tried without GPU it still wouldn't work when i got to desktop...
Also i tried running Gen 1 and Gen 2.

Well if anyone has suggestions...

Realtek AC1150 outclasses the Audigy SB0570 in every single category. The old AC97 from 2002 are bad and so is the new AC8xx in low in modern motherboards. If you buy any motherboard over $100 these days they all have the AC1150 chip which makes that sound card and most others obsolete unless you are trying to drive 600 OMS headphones. Even so you need to put on a pair of $1000 LCD-2 headphones to here the difference (I've done it). You aren't listing to SACD on the computer and most people don't even know what FLAC is lol. Sound cards are a waste of money.

I will say my Audgy 2 rocked, until it wasn't supported on Vista.....

If you really do have a low end onboard sound get a DAC instead. It will sound cleaner than any internal card.

No, why i opted for old sound card, cause;
1. I've tested on my friends rig with old sound card from 2003 he is musician and his friend also were positive about that,
2. My motherboard is low end with ALC882 something and the sound is bold, no bass and that stuff.
3. And i said, i need it because of the 5.1 .

I agree its old sound card, but PCIE are expensive... No ty.
