Title guys!

I need a better CPU for CPU intensive games (Fortnite, CS:GO, fps shooter games)
Also maybe for streaming but not at the highest level, just so my PC could stream some of my games with better CPU

is i5-7500 and H310M-H a good ugprade from my current setup, and does it worth the money?
it's 280$ in the shop im planning to buy from

I rock an R9 270, 8 GB RAM, and an 550W PSU Antec. Will the upgrade fit just fine to my setup and would it be a good upgrade for my 280$ budget?

I listed benchmarks to back up what I said.
The new i3 8100 has 4 true cores just like the i5 7500 you listed.
The new i5 8xxx processors have 6 true cores.

How come? It supports 8th gen proccessors while i5-7500 is 7th gen. Doesn't it mean it supports 8th and below?

No, 8th gen motherboards support ONLY 8th gen processors. As stated before, you should always check the CPU support list.
