So I have a Pentium g4560 + HD 7970, wondering should I get an EVGA 650 BQ or the SeaSonic S12II 520. I can get them both for about the same price but I heard SeaSonic is a better brand? They're both Bronze certified 80+, & I'm gonna be trying to overclock the GPU, thx in advance.

SeaSonic is a better brand?

That is complete BS. Because brand has nothing to do when choosing power supplies. Because every brand sells some good PSUs and some crap ones.

The only thing brand should be considered for is customer support.

The EVGA BQ has DC-DC, the S12ii is not. That already makes the EVGA unit better.

Though you should be able to get something better. Also not sure why you’re comparing a 520w with a 650w one. What are your full system specs, and budget/location?

I was comparing a 520w to a 650w since they were the ones I saw around the same price range. I'm trying to spend around $50-55 for one off of Ebay since it's from a gift card.

Edit: I live in the USA.

I found a CX650 for about $5 more than the EVGA 650 BQ I was gonna get so I'll just go with that one, thx for your help.
