Currently I have
A10 7700k
R7 260x

Since I have money shortage i can only upgrade one component first should i go

Ryzen 7 2700x and r7 260x
Or
A10 7700k and gtx 1060

I should buy the next component next month which ever is left here so what should I buy first?

Solution
Realistically, the proposed R7 2700X is a >$500 upgrade.

You could look to a Ryzen5 2xxx or even a 1xxx (1600), for an overall $500 upgrade, while upgrading both the CPU/MB/RAM and the GPU.

Best of both IMO.

If you had to upgrade one or the other right now, I'd be more inclined to replace the base platform (CPU/MB/RAM) and keep the 260X for a while.

The GPU would hold you back if you went with option #1.

The minimum requirements (more of a 30FPS, 1080p/low) are a GTX660 or HD7850, both a little stronger than a 260X.

"smooth" is subjective. If 1080p/low/30FPS is smooth to you, then yes.

The second option would be more of a 1080p/Medium-High/60FPS setup, for the same general pricepoint
