Need a pc capable of streaming android games to YouTube

My laptop broke. I don’t think it was enough to do the streaming anyway.

I’d love another laptop for space issues but it’s not a must.

I looked all over the web and couldn’t find a definitive answer to what specs I need.

I’m not building as I don’t know how.

I’m going to be using an external elgato hd60s to connect my tablet to my pc as mirroring isn’t reliable enough.

I also use OBS, streamlabs, and whatever else I find in the future to further improve my streams.

I have a budget of around $1200 US.

Please advise me to what hardware specifications I need. I don’t want the bare minimum but I also don’t need top of the line.

Cores/threads. That's really the only requirement to reliable, efficient streaming of anything. With the donkey work being done on the tablet, even an i5-8400 wouldn't have any issues, but a Ryzen based pc would be just as good, if not better, possibly having the room to use Android emulators and running everything through the pc, bypassing port/cable limitations.

Budget isn't really an issue, but that's also going to depend on exactly what you'll require, as in monitor, OS, kb, mouse etc. Just what does your budget cover, since $100 difference can mean a step up in a lot of stuff from better gpu, better cpu, better storage etc.

If not building, and thats final, then you'll end up with a much lower performance pc than otherwise. Somebody has to build it, so just how much of the budget % is being planned into that.

I understand building can be better but I lack that knowledge and I don’t know anyone. Also I’d love to use a laptop because I have such a small work area. But if it’s not recommended I’ll work around it.

Not sure what the ryzen does with emulators but I’m eager to learn. I also don’t know which ryzen is recommended or better than say the i5 8400 you mentioned.

I’m so sorry for my ignorance.

I have $1500 flat. That has to include tax and shipping and I’d like a better webcam I seen one on amazon for 99 that makes your background a green screen. Logitech something. I am also using a lawn chair as my streaming chair. Somehow I got up to 3600 subscribers but I need to get serious.

Something like this is about your best bet as you are used to laptops, limited space, and performance will be equitable if not better than what you'd get after spending out for the OS, monitor, mouse, kb etc.
