My sata information not found...

When I first build my pc the sata information wasn't found, so I put it in a different port and and it worked but after some time it didnt. So I tried another sata port and it worked but after some time it didn't work anymore. Help please.

I think there was something wrong with the PSU cable to the hdd

That wouldnt stop the drive being recognised, once the power cable was correctly connected; unless you are suggesting the cable is damaged internally, and not at the connector.
In which case, try a different power lead, most psus have at least two sets.

When I used another sata power cable, it worked. So I think there was something wrong with that cable.
