I'm upgrading my pc, changing all the parts except I'm keeping 2 hdd harddrives with personal files on them. I also want windows 10 to be on my new ssd.

I'm sort of stuck on what I need to do, will I need to wipe the harddrive that has my windows 10 on and install fresh with a key on the ssd or do I not need to wipe anything? I cant wipe my second hard drive because of personal files I need.

Solution
1. Install windows onto your new SSD (other drives disconnected);
2. Use windows activation troubleshooter, to transfer windows license to your new pc;
3. Reinstall your software;
4. Connect other drives, move data between them as desired;
5. Format your old OS drive after you have moved your user files elsewhere.

Thanks for this, how would I go about deleting everything off my first drive once they're all connected? I only need files from my second one and how would I format them?

Cheers
