H110 is a chipset, released in conjunction with Skylake (6th) Gen CPUs in mid-2015.

The i5-7500 is from the next gen (7th) aka KabyLake.... released in early 2017.

So, that motherboard may well have been manufactured long before the i5-7500 was even released..... therefor, it's not necessarily compatible without a BIOS (firmware) update.

Some 6th Gen boards have been updated from the factory (later date of Mfg).... but it's a good idea to assume a board has not, unless you know otherwise definitively.

For example, the specific motherboard you mentioned has been re-released, designated with "Ver. 7" with a BIOS update, compatible with 7th Gen CPUs.

To update the BIOS, you'll need a 6th Gen CPU -- the cheapest is typically a G3900, around $30-$40.

BUT, by the time you factor in the cost of the H110 motherboard AND the CPU you only need to update the BIOS with..... a compatible, out of the box 200 series motherboard (released with 7th Gen CPUs) is probably cheaper/easier.

For example, a board like this is $40 in the US - and will support 7th Gen CPUs without any BIOS update being required.
