Will my ryzen 7 1700 bottleneck my 1070 ti?

PLEASE NOTE I PLAN ON OVERCLOCKING IT TO THE MAX

So I want to play games at 1080p with max settings and maybe 4k.
Games like
GTA 5
Battlefield 1
Assassins creed.
Hitman
Witcher 3
Arma 3
Insurgency.
Oh and VR interests me aswell.

Preferably at 100+ FPS as I am getting a 144 hertz monitor. Anyway well it bottleneck it?

Although an R7-1700 (the 2700 or 2700X is preferable, of course) will not equal an 8700K at delivered frame rates *at 1080P*, if you are able to OC it to near 3.9-4.0 GHz, most love them.

At 4k, the GPU is the bottleneck, and no one can tell them apart in any game...
