Hello,

I want a new GPU with 8GB or 11GB and OC

I have been thinking to go with crossfire RX580's but ill think twice

Another option is crossfire r9 390x but as I said ill think twice

My Budget: $1200

My PC Specs

Intel Core i7 7700
Nvidia GTX 1080 8GB
16GB 2133MHz DDR4 RAM
240GB SSD
2TB SATA III HDD
600W 80 Plus Rated PSU

Well, the 980 is about equivalent to a 1070, so an upgrade still isn't terribly necessary. The more powerful single cards, which is the way I'd recommend going as SLI and crossfire are sparsely supported, are the 1070 Ti, 1080, 1080 Ti and Titan cards, as well as the AMD Vega 56 and 64.

Although, since your GPU is no slouch, I'd suggest waiting for the next generation cards. The 11 series should have a few more good cards that you could upgrade to. But, if you need to upgrade now, it should be 1070 Ti / Vega 56 or higher. Anything weaker wouldn't be too much of an upgrade. Like I said, avoid SLI and Crossfire as you'll end up paying way more for less performance in...

980 is more like a 1060 6gb. 1070 is equivalent to 980 ti.
